Hello. I just read the comments by Thelwell on Benik Afobe and his attitude towards playing for Wolves. I must say, I am absolutely furious. Seriously, only for fear that my post may be blocked, I'd have far stronger words to voice my frustration. Firstly, what an embarrassment. Really, what the hell was he thinking? Talk about sour grapes! If Benik wasn't trying, then the rest must've stayed home! Yes, he's gone off the ball this season. Yes, he's seemed disinterested. Do you know why? Because of Kenny's stupid 4-5-1 formation. For the service he received, Benik may as well have been sat in the stands. The best finisher in the division and you isolate him against four defenders. Clearly Thelwell covering his back and the club's own failings. I dislike all these phony farewells that clubs offer these days. Yet Afobe deserved so much better than this kind of ludicrous treatment. It's just typical Wolves, making a fool of ourselves once again.
Also Thelwell, if Afobe's attitude was so rotten (despite his constant bubbly character) isn't it YOUR blooming job to find somebody to replace him? We needed an out-and-out striker. You got us an overpriced No. 10. Just bonkers!

It's also the same overpriced no10 that was deemed airplane to requirements for only his second game for the club. I would have much preferred 3-5 mil being spent on a decent no9 as we already have a number of player suites to the no10 role already at the club ie bright, Henry, zyro.

Why is zyro made play as striker when clear see at old club was played out wide yet again buy someone for a totally diff job that should be doing rather than buy players for right positions any wonder this season a write off and don't say we only ten pts from playoffs we crap and got no chance making the pts up.

Rubbish!Morgan could hold onto the club if he wanted too he's a very rich man.The fact is he doesn't want too because of the abuse he got at the hands of some supporters & that's caused the mess we have now.He won't allow the club to devalue he's a business man.

With Thelwell and Moxey coming out the woodwork and having there say and upsetting people, are there big changes on the way let's hope so we might have new owners on the way, we can but hope the sooner the better for me.

Bit of a low blow from Thelwell last night about Benik Afobe. Can we not be professional enough to not air our dirty linen in public. Feel really ashamed that he could diss an ex player like that in public. Even had a pop at his family too. All this to wipe the egg off his own sorry little face. Disgraceful. Re Afobe - Very stupid and naive comments from Thelwell. He may well be right, regardless, he gives the club a bad name and I can't help but think he's a bit of a plonker who's totally out of his depth - complete lack of class and professionalism!

He said Afobe's agent, advisors, family & Norwich were all trying to get him out of the club and trying to undermine his relationship with wolves. He also said he is now earning 4x his salary - (good luck to him.)

Probably! Worth reading the forum minutes if you get a chance re Stearman sale, Nathan Byrne not playing and the Afobe issue. KJ put firmly on the spot today when press asked for his view on their comments. Club looking stupid again - we do it SO well 🙈.

Paul no one knows outside of the prospective purchasers. Giving out info will only fuel Morgan's ego to manipulate the price on the basis they have broken the non disclosure agreement.
So try take it easy we all just have to wait there is nothing we can do.
All these people who say they know something at basically bulling us so they feel in control.
