For me MOTM was either Griffiths or Davis. Davis was everywhere on the pitch and always available to receive a pass aswell as breaking up play. Quality.

think this McDonald guy won't happen, being played again by the agents. we may have to go look abroad again as it seems a lot less complicated. there's a lot of good players in eastern europe: poland, czech etc.
Heard he's under pressure from him family to stay in Yorkshire.

What is the problem with Ward? I'm curious. Has he really done much wrong? He always tried hard, even though he had some sloppy moments I reckon league 1 is decent. Great experience, can play up front. He always had an eye for goal. I understand Johnson and Ohara and Doyle and Henry but Ward, I'm sure, really never looked lazy. Opinions?
I agree, he is a trier and at this level would be fine, we are paying him anyway so don't see the harm in including him in the squad

Totally agree, we have a problem with no left sided midflielder i'd play him there!
Always gave 110% not like the posers, played wherever he has been asked and been knocked by the fans for not being good enough.

(First poster again here) Do you reckon he will stay? I'm thinking LB with Ricketts and Batth CB's? Plus he is a versatile player. Could even manage striker, like he used to, at this level.

Yes heard also he thinks a lot of himself and also big player in the old McCarthy camp that may be undermining all new managers.Both parties need a fresh start on this one.

KJ has a problem with Ward, that much we know. And it probably goes higher than KJ. If his wages are too high then he's been frozen out to force his hand to move (he may have been invited to take a pay cut and he refused, we don't know).
Doyle and Sako have generated interest from other clubs and are being played. Doesn't that tell us something?
Ward was part of that cluster of players who's wage goes down as we get relegated? Swear it's in the contract? I could be wrong. But surely he'd only be on 20k? Which is manageable if we do lose Doyle and Sako? I think McDonalds wage, for example, would be roughly that?
