If we rewind to the start of the season I would have taken our present position every day of the week. Jacket took over a shocking state of affairs left by his predecessors including Mcarthy. There is a lot of season left and plenty of points to fight for so let's keep prospective .
Another deadline passed with no activity other than another couple of kids . We have needed striking options all season but have not found a club willing to let a good player go for next to nothing . We need a statement from the board as to what the plan if any is, maybe a plan to remain in this div for the near future raising money from the sale of youngsters e.g. Batth . Let us know so we can manage our expectations .
Our position is a direct result of dithering and lack of investment .

We need to manage our expectations .From our purchases in the summer and Jan you can see that promotion this year was not in our sights . Next year maybe another story but let's not get carried away . Investment is the only way to get out of this league and stay in the next and I wonder if our board have the stomach for it.
If you expect nothing that's exactly what you get, If they adjust the entry prices to reflect ambition that Ok . The potential at the club is enormous let's live it!
