@Paulwolfpa - how can we attract a top manger if we're a championship club? we need to be realistic about who is appointed. I'd say Steve Bruce as he knows the league. Martinez is a bluffer who has been exposed. Badly.

Jackett won't be going anywhere, he will get to at least November. He will be given the opportunity to bring in players this month, most of which will be loan deals. The new owners will then bring in their own man who will be given significant funds.

I just don't get why we keep being linked to these glamourous coaches and players, yet on the other hand here about Jackett staying. If Jackett is staying, why do I keep reading about Bruce and Silver taking over on every other web site? Makes no sense.
Do people keep saying this just to wind everybody up? I can't believe for one minute the new owners are content with the manager and playing staff we currently have at Wolves. Please only post if you have genuine information.

Today we've had 4 different stories;
1. Bruce to be announced tomorrow, bringing three players with him (Sako and two Wigan players)
2. Marc Wilmots to come in with some Spanish ones
3. Marco Silva announced tomorrow with original 4-5 'European' players
4. Jackett definitely stays with some average signings
Now come on, which one is telling fibs?

Ola john might be on permenant because he only got year left on his contract but tbf I don't no what he's actually like never saw him play but benfica paid 10mil for him so can't be bad I don't think.

Regarding the manager position I would have thought it's the end of the road for KJ unless the owners didn't have a plan B and cannot get the ideal replacement before the start of the season - if this is the case it would not be the worst case scenario.
Don't get me wrong I would like everything to be new from owners to players including the manager and back room staff (the old Olympiakos manager Silva would be great considering he's also got champions league XP) but we already have the following:
1: Rich new owners
2: Money to buy new players and finish our stadium build
3: A new board (sort of)
If we end up with Jacket for a little while longer so be it and don't get down about it cause if he does stay it will be make or break for him within the first few weeks of the season
Ola John - I didn't see him play so can't comment but like someone said if he cost Benfica €10m and Ajax and PSV are interested in him now then he should be better than what we have
He would be the type of player that we could get whole in the championship if we are being realistic cause the top names will want us to be on he Prem before they come here as they have their reputations to think of.
The main thing for me now is that we bring on some quality players for the start of the season (10 new players would be nice and what I think we need)
Can't wait for tomorrow to find out what we getting in terms of manager and player quality.

I do find it amazing how people are having a go at the new owners already. They haven’t even had chance to unpack their bags. It took Morgan about three years to get us promoted. Fosun haven’t even been here a week and some of you are moaning because they haven’t made any massive announcements.

Can I just take this time to ask you to remember Solbaken? - he was everything the new owners are looking for right now (cutting edge European crap)! I was actually arguing a couple of months ago to someone about just how bad he was yet ironically we are now looking for another one (for some reason) .
The simplest ideas are usually the best and, although it pains me to say it, Steve Bruce would do a really good job for Wolves and is probably the best choice.

I don't think we can say Solbakken was good or bad to be honest. He neither had enough time nor support to do what he wanted at the club. For example, if he was given as much control as Jackett with regards to which players can leave, I think he might've had a better shot at it. Hard to get players that are so used to being in a team together, that plays with a particular set of tactics to suddenly change their style and do what the manager wants in 6 months or so.
Not saying he was a good manager, just saying that like many players/ people at Wolves, not given a chance to do what he can.

Seeing a lot of names for the LB position. I stick with Rico Henry for that. English FL experience and one of the most promising talents at that. He must live close so he would see Wolves as a good option. No brainer for me.

Ok this is not rumour related but Lincs-Wolf did you seriously say Sako showed no loyalty? Yeah no he showed no loyalty playing for us in league 1. Terrible behaviour totally no respect for the club. You must be deluded mate he clearly loved the club he cried when he left. As much as I appreciate what he did for the club we can't take him back we need new faces move forward more.
