Supposedly all these deals are being put in place by Robin Li an Internet entrepeneur from China. Reportedly worth 14.3 billion dollars. Don't shoot the messenger only what I've read.

Judging by the fact it hasn't been reported before chance are there's more truth in it than the usual ding li nonsense.

Right first time I've ever posted on here but I'm forever reading about it. My mom visits a gentleman who is friendly with Robert Plant. Apparently the Mike Williamson deal has fell through because Morgan has literally not put a penny in and is letting the club pay for itself. Supposedly according to this source we literally don't have 350k available for Williamson.

Don't know how true any of this is as I don't know the chap or nothing and he is a patient of my Mothers.

If this is true however can only see the sale of Afobe meaning that the funds are going to go towards keeping the club afloat rather than actually being reinvested.

Sorry to be morbid folks but the future definitely doesn't look bright while we are still in Morgan's hands.

The money isn't needed to stay afloat as the one decent thing Morgan and Moxey have done is get us running self-sufficiently, which means we can still operate as a club without any investment. Albion are also the same and we are in the minority as most clubs would fall apart if the owners stopped investing.

Played really well yesterday but never killed the game off. Anyone else think for a team packing the midfield with a 3-4-3 we are lacking a bit of width? Playing with a false 9 also with bonatini, rarely making runs in and round the defence meaning we've got no counter. Everything is build up play. Which is great to watch but I don't know how many more 1-0's I can cope with! Cavaliero must have a bigger part for me.

Any news when Costa is back? Thought he was scheduled for early September. I think he could be the master key.

Also anyone know what's happened with Zyro, he's fit isn't he. He's a big lad with an eye for goal, was really impressive before his injury.

Either way good result and onwards to Tuesday where 3 points again is a must!

Plenty of width centrally (as in from Vinagre and Doc) but agree the LF/ RF are quite narrow which I think is intentional. It does seem though when Cav comes on he stays out wider and maybe Costa will do the same but I think they are all drilled to know what position Nuno wants. It's working so far anyway. 6 wins and clean sheets in 8 is way better than I hoped for at this stage.

Anyone know why the wolves were in the southern side of the draw and the Albion in the northern? Despite the fact wolves being slightly more north? Is it do with leagues aswell geography?

Don't know but my best bet is because the Carabao Cup draw is a complete shambles. I've seen better organisation from a bunch of nursery children.

2.) 11 Aug 2017 13:38:29
The second string will only be for cup games our strong starting lineups won't be risked against opposition thatll kick em off the park back to normal for derby game plus cavas available I think. nuno knows what he's doing he ain't like the other clowns we, ve had down the mol recently.

Talisca has supposedly rejected an initial offer of £25,000 as he believes the wolves can offer more with a £20 million pound purchase.

Surely we can negotiate but not increase the 25k per week just offer every player a huge promotion bonus. Play for the big pay out! like sales it's a performance driven business.

Due to the expansion in the football market regarding value, prices of players etc, I've come to the conclusion that we are probably owned by someone of the same relative wealth of Morgan when he took over. i.e players are 10 times more expensive etc. However Morgan has only injected a clause that states the same wealth is spent as what he spent. Unless the Chinese really put there hands in there pockets and look at spending more like 60-70 million over the two years I can't see us being a force to be reckoned with in the championship. We need spending power that's going to mirror parachute payments.

That being said I don't want the problem of having the players on stupid money like we had when we intitially were relegated. Nor do I want the tripe that we have at the moment.

I think this is going to be a funny old season and it will be interesting to see what's spent pre season and also in January. But say he spends 20 mil a season we aren't going to move forwards or backwards simply maintain our mid table championship status.

Anyone got any genuine ideas of who's coming in and who's going out?

Also I'm going to be seriously worried about Kenny Jackett and Kevin Thelwell with anything more than £10.62.

Anybody think that there will be unveilings at the official press conference on Monday?

Yep, experienced midfielder Hasbean Sprouts and new striker Bamboo Shoots.

Must admit are can't see anything happening at all now, we are all scrambling about looking for an ounce of potential evidence, light at the end of the tunnel, and finding out that a goal keeping coach is following 3-4 wolves pages out of 700 pages he follows.

Surely if the Robin Li deal had fell through they would of announced so? So we can assume it's still on or wasn't on at all.

All these rumours about Robin Li not even being the prospective buyer has now muddied up the waters even more.

Surely we deserve a club statement at least saying, papers are at the FA, we are at the later stages of the agreement. The way the club are handling the fans is for a change, abysmal, but I don't know what we all expect if I'm honest.

Anybody made the trip to Ireland, of so let us know how the atmosphere is around the camp.

Also seems odd that Kenny has flown separate to the players? Regardless of a bit of a dinner and a speech in London, surely he'd want to spend time bonding with the players, unless he really does know what's going on and knows he's not going to be at the club to worry about it?

I as most likely the rest of you on here am I die hard wolves fan, but the board don't half make the club difficult to support and a change in management throughout the club is imperative now to get the fans back on board and bridge over the constant disappointment.

Just read on Twitter, for what it's worth, that takeover is complete and will be announced with a new manager when the team return from Ireland.

2.) 18 Jul 2016 12:22:41
where on twitter does it say this?

3.) 18 Jul 2016 12:24:28
Are we sure Ireland even exists, or might that just be rumour too?

4.) 18 Jul 2016 12:25:02
@SecureTransfers.

5.) 18 Jul 2016 12:25:30
It's only the football social on twitter who is saying this, NOBODY ELSE!

6.) 18 Jul 2016 12:35:05

I assume the only thing that could worry ffp is if we do actually sign Talisca?

TommyM

{Ed001's Note - FFP is done over a period of 3 years. It has been relaxed recently and it would not be an issue immediately.}
