Great rumour, cheers.

Interesting, especially as the club have come out and said signing a striker wasn't a priority. Private planes on deadline day shows it being a clear priority.

Maybe Fletchers coming home haha.

Who is the striker lined up to sign the dotted line on this afternoon?

This was always going to be a risk with the new manager/ The 'clean slate' scenario which hinders progress. Some honest conversations have to be had.
1877 I 100% agree with your list but would only ship out once we have shipped players in. So we are not racing around in August to sign players to fill the void and compromising on talent/ ability.
I would be interested in knowing what players Lambert would have moved on in the off-season. His list may have been the same as yours.

Apart from Sam Gallagher and Ashley Fletcher, of course.

I think so far, so good. One game doesn't define a player and Dicko scoring doesn't mean he will score 20+ this season. Its a good start, but just a start to build on. Any player returning back from a torn ACL will need the remainder of the season to get back on track, hopefully he is there.
Match fitness won't be there yet and the players are out of rhythm with each other and themselves, it will click big time soon.
A win is a win and we move on.

They won't remove the sponsor from the adult shirt. If you owned The Money Shop why would you pay Wolves for sponsorship if they won't even put their logo on their shirts?
They can do it for the kids shirt as you need to be 18+ to use their services. No need to make it an agenda item, not going to happen.

Playing devils advocate. PL didn't have a change to shape the squad as he would have wanted. He may have completely overhauled the squad in the summer if given a chance.
Yes, some players who didn't deserve contracts got one year extensions. But was PL responsible for that choice?
I guess we will never know what his long-term plan was. But let's remember what squad he inherited before casting judgment. He probably wanted 15 or so players gone in his first window, like we did/ do, but couldn't justify a mass change after just coming in and with no potential money available.
I refuse to judge someones long term plans when only given a short term tenure.

Why would he turn down playing in the premier league or abroad at a decent level to drop a division and play several more games in smaller grounds in front of smaller crowds?
