Cavaleiro has signed on a 5 year deal. Fantastic capture and ambition shown.

Sbrek

1.) 31 Aug 2016 15:58:23
With an option for a further year.

2.) 31 Aug 2016 16:03:23
Woohoo, he's signed! And that probably concludes a very satisfactory August in the transfer market!

3.) 31 Aug 2016 16:11:31
Wolves favourites for Jack Wilshire according to the Telegraph. What a signing that would be.

4.) 31 Aug 2016 16:13:14
Sorry, slightly decieving that report. Wolves are 33/ 1 to sign Jack Wilshire.

5.) 31 Aug 2016 16:17:59
Amazing, to attract a player of proven quality that cost a top team like Monaco £13m 1 year ago is going to open other players eyes and ears and will make us look more attractive.

Now we have a good squad of players at least until the next window these players need to play their best because the Prem is where we want to be next season, I think we are good enough now but we still need one more CB or Williamson to return so we can stop leaking stupid soft goals.

6.) 31 Aug 2016 19:08:58
Pre dicktive text. My last message was supposed to say gannicus! I'm sure IV will be good for us. Truth be known I never seen him play, so wish him well. We need goals and we haven't got them. It was critical we did. What can I say. All the teams that have gone up have had just that. Quality strikers. We need 20 a season strikers. 😀.

7.) 31 Aug 2016 19:33:09
Sbrek could not agree more a great signing and good ambition.

22 Aug 2016 13:18:49
Official wolves announce Ola John and Cameron Bothwick-Jackson on loan for the season.

Sbrek

1.) 22 Aug 2016 13:32:19
Centre half and centre forward then I think we should be done. 2 more very good signings.

2.) 22 Aug 2016 13:34:45
Drat!
You just beat me to it Sbrek.

UTW.

3.) 22 Aug 2016 13:58:41
Looking good. Wonder if they will be picked to start for Wolves or if they will keep the other signings company on the bench?

4.) 22 Aug 2016 14:13:23
Centre half, attacking midfielder and a striker then we should be ready.

5.) 22 Aug 2016 14:15:04
sorry wombourne haha. I was actually reading an arcticle in the national saying we had signed Jackson and was about to put the link in when they announced it officially so I couldn't wait to be first in lol.

6.) 22 Aug 2016 14:31:49
Doesn't matter if the starting 11 play like they did on Saturday
Important thing is that we have about 25 players for the squad that are all of a good enough quality to win games through the whole season
I like what we are doing now and guess what we've got an actual LB - somebody pinch me
I agree Darbo, a CB (experienced) and another ST should see us ok for a while at least.

It's being reported that we are leading the chase to sign Jordan Rhodes (HITC Sport)

7.) 22 Aug 2016 14:32:13
Fantastic news 2 good players, now for a cf and cb come on the WOLVES.

8.) 22 Aug 2016 15:56:52
Brilliant signings in positions we did need improving l. I agree we do need a experienced CB and striker (Rhodes would be gr8) but I do think we should also look at CM who has some creativity and can play that final pass. I saw villa was linked to ravel Morrison he's a player I wouldn't say no to.

9.) 22 Aug 2016 16:56:10
Morrison and Balotelli and you could have Swan Lake at the Mol. Two Prima Ballerinas!

23 Jul 2015 17:12:21
Anyone else heard we're favourites to sign Gallagher from Southampton on loan. he was injured for most of last season young striker would probably tie in with jacketts recruitment policy of young and hungry and especially if his only for back up

Sbrek

1.) 23 Jul 2015 18:32:21
Why we always linked players who been injured all time why can't ever b fit players instead

2.) 23 Jul 2015 19:43:09
He is fit - he scored the winning goal when they won the u21 cup last year (April).

3.) 23 Jul 2015 21:22:09
The most plausible of all the rumours posted.
A third striker is going to be behind afobe and dicko in the pecking order.
Saints will want him treated with a kid glove and will trust kj to look after him.
Can see this one happening.

4.) 23 Jul 2015 23:10:47
Far as I know on the matter Southampton are keen to loan him out and we are the favourites. personally I don't think it's a bad option with the opening day being so close

5.) 24 Jul 2015 00:11:02
Hopefully get him then and maybe get someone like Jonny Russell who I think wolves maybe after

6.) 24 Jul 2015 09:36:32
I will be happy with this lad and if we can get him on loan then move onto a winger

7.) 24 Jul 2015 09:56:54
Matt, I've been saying since the later end of last season that Russell should be the player to replace Sako, and with the players Derby have available he might be pushed out into a rotational player. We should offer 2-3m and maybe have a sneaky word saying he'll be our main player. Unsettle him a little as it doesn't look as though he's their 1st choice at the moment.

8.) 24 Jul 2015 10:08:00
Another thing off subject, does anybody else think Sako is regretting not signing our contract, seems him agent has priced him out of a move anywhere

9.) 24 Jul 2015 10:11:29
When say not fit mean players who been injured in past we seem be a club that other teams send players to so get match fit we never seem get many players who just can't get in their 1st team so loaned out to us already match fit suppose don't matter if they do the business though really

10.) 24 Jul 2015 12:39:42
I've contact a few Southampton supporters & they rate this lad. They did say he had an injury last season but, he got over that. Also, had some bad family news & being young it hit him quite badly. They say a move to Wolves on loan would be a good idea. They think it'll bring him along & give him some game time. We wait & see if M&M will sanction such a move!

11.) 24 Jul 2015 15:10:15
Loan market will see a couple come in - one GK and back up striker.

Henry is obviously going.

Sako has passed any opportunity to return by turning down the opportunity to train with the first teamers in France. Beneteke leaving Villa will play into his hands and they will panic and meet his demands. Unveiling and next weeks friendly?

KMac is an interesting one, KJ wants him but for one reason or another this has stalled. KMac either wants to play for us or he doesn't. If he goes I am not sure we will replace, Evans will just remain at club rather than go out on loan.

I sure hope that we do not go backwards and miss out on playoffs again.

While it is great to see youth given its chance, these kids have got to hit the ground as first teamers running.

12.) 24 Jul 2015 15:30:48
Think sako feeling stupid got carried away with own hype now can't get clubs sign him needs be realistic about his talent and wage demands

13.) 25 Jul 2015 02:46:15
How much do u wanna bet that if in the next 2 weeks sako doesn't sign for someone that he Phones Kj and ask him if there is possibility he could come back and sort out a deal? Stu Corbett total agree mate on Russell he scored goals he's quick and can create as well him golbourne could be a good partnership got a feeling VLP will come good as well tbh he's been honest and said needs to improve on things and he's over the summer looked and analysed were he needs to improve so hopefully he'll be like a dark horse of a player

14.) 25 Jul 2015 08:38:11
Funny that I was about to write RVLP a dark horse who might emerge as our best player like Ronaldo at ManU took a season before being brilliant.

15.) 25 Jul 2015 14:05:33
Think VLP is criticised a little too much, got 8 assists last season which is a good return, maybe a few more goals need to be added to his game, but he's a decent player especially at this level. If we were to sign Russell and VLP scored more goals, we'd have 20 goals from our wingers this season, Just think we don't need to panic just yet I'm sure KJ has a plan and will sort it out over the next couple of weeks

16.) 29 Jul 2015 13:00:45
Well there's another one we haven't got gone to mk Dons on loan now! I'm not one to be pessimistic but it's getting beyond a joke now signings wise but keep the faith still

Reports in turkey are saying talisca has made a surprise move and is about to join besiktas on a season long loan instead.

Sbrek

1.) 17 Aug 2016 12:56:42
Yep seen that to be honest not surprised its dragged on for too long.

2.) 17 Aug 2016 13:16:30
Noway way its like lending my porsche 2 my mate lol noway.

05 Aug 2016 12:37:23
Squad numbers announced so hope they were held back a day for the talisca announcement wide of the mark. Interestingly no Williamson so even if he ever gains his fitness back doesn't look part of Walters plans although he won't have seen him play but i'd say more shockingly no number for Ennis.

Sbrek

1.) 05 Aug 2016 13:09:13
Does Ennis need to be registered as isn't he under 21 so can play anyway?

20 Jul 2016 11:33:36
With all the fosum speculation and with some of the comments i've read about their declining equity etc., i found this article relating to their wealth.

Donkey Hote, the loan window was taken out of place before the beginning of the 16/ 17 season mate.

I think With Locadia we won't be looking for another striker as Nuno will be happy with the attacking options we have due to the system he plays he will have Locadia and Bonatini as his first choice and rely on Cav, Bright and Jota who can all play the central role if needed. I've seen a few people saying we don't necessarily need a 20-25 goal a season striker if we've got multiple players chipping in with 10-15 each and with Jota, Cav, Locadia, Bonatini and Costa when his back we could certainly have that. Especially as all of those can swap and change between those 3 more forward roles the movement and link up play would be frightening .

Another case to back that up would be look at Abraham last season and the amount of goals he scored and Bristol did nothing.

In Nuno we Trust!

I get the whole "passion players" being sad to see players who have been part of the club for such a long time go, but if they are no longer good enough and aren't going to be playing then what is the point in keeping them here, 1 for the sake of the club when we can use their sales as a way to balance the books abit with recent incomings and secondly for the player themselves? In Edwards case it's been quite clear when his played he can't play in the new system and being towards the end of his career now I think it's perfect for him to leave with his dignity in tact and make the most of what playing time he does have left now, wish them best and look to the future because these players aren't our future anymore. Also you have to look at the positives that the club and Nuno do still want to utilise our academy and the Southampton squad showed this! It's not all going to be a foreign invasion, we still want to produce our own, but I'd rather see our young talents coming through learning their trade along side players like neves and costa then the old guard!

i wouldn't be overly surprised if this one was true to be honest, didn't Nuno sign him for Porto? Also another Mendes player which always works in our favour!

I agreee we do need a striker but I can understand what nunos trying to do in terms of sure up the defence and trying to get us playing football from the back first and working on the build up as last few seasons our strikers have been starved of service. I wouldn't panic just yet tho still a fair few weeks till the window shuts I'm sure it's his next area to address. Just like to point out huddersfield went up last year only scoring 2 more goals then us as they won a fair few games 1-0 just by being solid. This league is about consistency so as I said I can understand nunos logic for how his gone about building from the back.

I don't understand the criticism price gets personally, his been playing in a poor team playing hoofball. Personally I think his got one of the best footballing brains at the club and playing in nunos system will flourish. I know it was only a friendly against Bremen but he showed in the first half in the right system he can be a fantastic little player for he and I personally think this season you'll see the quality he does actually possess playing in nunos system alongside neves.

Wilson is said to have caused all sorts of problems yesterday and enobakhare scored. may have been pre season and a low quality of opposition but it's still encouraging. Also heard rumours around that we're looking at fast tracking Niall Ennis from the under 18s don't know how true. But if so, would seem mcalinden has fell way down the pecking order.

Euroman I agree with your mentality history counts for nothing. we're in a rebuilding phase. I'd be disappointed if we didn't make the play offs as we narrowly missed out last season so progress would be to make the play offs but I'm with you on the fact that its key that we don't rush and make silly signings and end up like we did in the Ohara and Johnson stage again and allow our young talented group we have ATM to full fill their potential in the process of allowing our historic club add more to their history by fulfilling its potential. Bigwolf I get what your saying as we do have the potential to be a big big club all the fundamentals are there. The facilities the fans the history but we have to earn it and build towards it
