Chelsea fan here: Abraham has joined you for 6 months and you have first option on him for a 12 month loan in the summer if he's available. You did want him on a permanent, but Chelsea wanted a very significant fee which Wolves weren't prepared to match.

There is no need for Fifa to interfere in the Abraham deal as all 3 ckubs are English. The FA has the authority in this case and views the Community Shield match as of no consequence. Therefore Abraham is free to join Wolves as long as he and Chelsea agree. Villa have no say in the matter. Maybe they should write another letter complaining about Mendes?
