Does anyone know what happens if (and presumably when) we breach ffp? Seem to recall Bournemouth got a paltry fine; is that still the case?

When Rednap was at QPR in 2015 he spen 108m in the January window alone they got a fine of 8m. We have spent including Neves if it happens around 50m so I am sure if a fine comes along it won't hurt the club to much.

FFP states that a club cannot spend more than they earn. Let's not forget that we have an exclusive deal in place which shows our games in China.

It's a collective loss over 3 years, and if the board aren't willing to put their own money into the club to clear the debt over 3 years then there will be sanctions. Our board will put money in if the club are in debt, so we won't suffer harsh FFP sanctions.

There were some rule changes not too long ago. States you can't lose more than £39m over 3 years. If we reach PL it's not a problem.

I can imagine once the moneyshop deal ends that some Friend of forun will pop up with some incredible sponsorship deal.

I totally agree that he would have been better than what Portugal have in the tournament, but absolutely agree with Paulcooksleftpeg and made the comment when he was left out.

I know we have been linked with Guedes but I am not convinced having seen him twice. Gelson Martins however looked much better and we all know his contractual situation at the moment.

At least the media sort of got Benik right how long until they run the ridiculous article they did on Robbie Keane again? Personally I rate Afobe and glad we are not playing against him but time will tell. Exciting times but please no Grealish as I do not want players who practice waving yellow cards on their way down from their rehearsed diving.

To be fair to Lambert he performed a miracle in securing our safety with such a brilliant march. Yes we are rubbish and yes the squad needs overhauling but I for one would give PL first crack. Experienced and can't knock first two signings when played in position. Yes he is rotating dross at the moment and many of them probably know they are dead men walking and at least now there is time for a planned assault; not the few weeks that the takeover gave Zenga (Mendes) which was which was always destined to fail. Costa is unfortunate but that is football and happens at every club. At least the money under this regime will more than likely be reinvested in the club and that for me is refreshing.

Can understand the need for some stability at the club and if Lambert doesn't get a full season and two more transfer windows then it will be difficult to fully judge him.
On the other hand since safety why are we playing such boring football. Would prefer to go all out and maybe lose some games 4-3 then settle for such negativity. Think Scott Sellars managing these last few games would of been more interesting, come to think of it Peter Sellers would bring more life to the team and he's been dead for over 30 years.

Lets be honest the fans are expecting at least 15 player to go and between 5 and 7 players to come in if Lambert gets it wrong will Fosun want to carry on. I do not think Lambert is the man to take us to the premiership and keep us there just my opinion.

Bookies offering 8/1 that we are relegated for those who think it's a sure thing; personally I don't. I understand the negativity re Lambert and team selection but we have sub standard players and he is not Harry Potter. To hang him over the difficult January transfer window is not right. The team needs a 12th man at the moment and for the sledging to stop until we are hopefully confirmed as staying up!
