3.) 12 Jul 2016 22:14:16
how do you know this?

4.) 12 Jul 2016 22:14:21
But it's not is it stop speculating, you don't know what's happening, none of us do.

5.) 12 Jul 2016 22:18:59

6.) 12 Jul 2016 22:22:00
Yes j. gough yo also said it was off, and you await apologise of folk, ill await for news on tv in stead of B'S.

7.) 12 Jul 2016 22:23:41
Why should we believe you?

8.) 12 Jul 2016 22:25:48
Its great a club.
Golden palace.

We make stars now stars are making us.

Wolves forever passion.

9.) 12 Jul 2016 22:26:45
Would like to know what Jim has to say about today's paper talk.

10.) 12 Jul 2016 22:28:21
This time I believe your right, i'm expectin an announcement before end of the week? Can u confirm that?

11.) 12 Jul 2016 22:41:33
Molmix has crashed has something happened?

12.) 12 Jul 2016 22:44:10
I wander what sir jack would think of selling the wolves to Morgan who then sells to China. He would be so sad and feel betrayed. The deal must be done and I just think through the excitement that we should think of sir jack and I has that moxeys first job is to get sir jacks statue in place.

Wolves fans should all remember the journey and yes the pleasure we are about to witness needs to have a moment for him and his family.

Remember who gave you the job jez!

13.) 12 Jul 2016 22:48:06
I don't even think there is a take over I reckon someone somewheres telling porkies.

14.) 12 Jul 2016 22:50:49
In fact Morgan should pay for it before disappearing back to carden park!

15.) 12 Jul 2016 22:53:18
I personally think that Morgan has sold the club to someone who can and will take us to the next level without running up a large debt which will stop any future investors if they decided to sell. If Man City or Chelsea owners decided to sell, there would be little interest due to the massive debt they have. I think Morgan has sought assurances that this won't happen to us much like Sir Jack did.

16.) 12 Jul 2016 23:58:32
Re Eogg, I get what you mean, but it's a bigger World than that now and people like SJH, his generations and previous ones made it so. They won - British values like SJ's are at the forefront of the best of the modern World, and people like Robin Li who was educated in America and worked for big American Companies, who are innovating and enterprising but with high standards and style, represent that.

We birthed the Industrial Revolution, with someone like Robin Li, one of the top ten IT business people in the World, it could be the next step we've been waiting so long for, the Information Technology Revolution finally arriving for us, a chance to regenerate. Along with more money in the town in general, the IT thing could give the town a modern image that could propel it and the young people forward into something really good, with real opportunities.

And our real identity and heritage, both as a football club and region, seem to perfectly fit with Robin Li's agenda, so it will be the real Wolves, SJH's Wolves who go on to whatever glory Robin Li helps us to achieve. And a lot of that success, or at least extra support, will be in China, so Robin Li will be helping us take our identity and values there, making the World even more Brit.

Regardless of how rich, there's loads of foreign owners I'd have been dubious of and disappointed with, but I think Robin Li is something really special, is best placed to help the club and town back to being something special and SJH would be very pleased.

17.) 13 Jul 2016 09:05:22
Gone off on a bit of a personal fantasy about your ideal 'other person's' personality there haven't you?
You're not alone mind you, there have been dozens of presumed opinions of Robin Li as representative of a whole 2 billion race in the past week.
There don't all match up mind you.

18.) 13 Jul 2016 10:11:12
It's not personal fantasy, I've read up on him a lot (he was even Co-Chair of a UN Commission into IT) and get reliable feelings about people. And I can see what his business objectives must be.

Plus, I know how image works, realities are irrelevant it's perception that counts, a belief / perceived image can snowball over time into a big reality. Why Moneyshop was such a disaster but Robin Li with his World leading IT reputation would be so good.

And, I was lucky enough to be mentored by Randy Lerner's super rich and successful cousin / nephew when I worked for his American bank, and know what these American business minded movers and shakers (like Li became having been educated in America and worked there) are like. I'm 100% convinced Robin Li would be an awesome owner, it makes 100% sense when I think it through and it fits perfectly with what I can feel too.

Li and Ding Lei are the owners of WWFC. Confirmed in China.

J.GOUGH

1.) 12 Jul 2016 03:28:08
Where did you see/ hear this mate? Have scoured the internet but cannot see conformation anywhere!

2.) 12 Jul 2016 06:30:50
The document that mentions ding lei is in Chinese but has been translated seems it bit confusing looks like Chinese did a e&s job ( repeated old stories) they seen ding mentioned previously so just put 2+2=5 also said wrong stuff about Milan - on diff note we got Chinese web site now so somethings happened.

3.) 12 Jul 2016 06:51:46
Check out Sportsmole.

4.) 12 Jul 2016 07:26:16
How do I find Chinese website.

5.) 12 Jul 2016 08:08:04
Waited all our lives for a billionaire and then two come along at once!

6.) 12 Jul 2016 08:33:57
I think this has been misinterpreted, I think it means to say either li or lie will be buying the club. Sports mole is hardly a credible source for a first hand confirmation, you will have to wait for the club for that.

7.) 12 Jul 2016 08:43:25
moxey at wolverhampton station!

8.) 12 Jul 2016 08:49:46
Not surprised about that maybe 2 will be involved in takeover, but Jack ma is also a close investment partner of li also it looks like they like the idea of the golden palace 2.

9.) 12 Jul 2016 08:49:55
Give him a shove, lol.

10.) 12 Jul 2016 09:01:11
Very much doubt both would invest in one club as both have own brand to promote, but billionares fighting over us? Yes please.

11.) 12 Jul 2016 09:05:25
£60 million for Wolves? They could have bought Aston Vile for that. Morgan obviously wasn't leaving until he got every penny, as usual.

12.) 12 Jul 2016 09:10:53
I belive it to be just Li. there's been load pf cross reports, but Li is most consistant.

13.) 12 Jul 2016 09:22:07
Theres loads of press outside molineux.

14.) 12 Jul 2016 09:49:44
Could have brought villa for that but would also have taken on a club with 30 million of debt and a wage bill that's double the size of ours for a squad of players who proved last season aren't good enough for the premier league. So I see it as a positive sign for us as they obviously see it as a chance to build a squad good enough to become established in the league as opposed to trying to do it with dead wood.

15.) 12 Jul 2016 09:53:12
Still not much coverage in the national press, if anything at all. Does that show how irrelevant Wolves have become? Or is it lazy British journalism or too much focus on the Premier League?

16.) 12 Jul 2016 10:21:23
It's being orchestrated as a big splash, so I guess we'll see nothing in National Press till it's official, but maybe today if Press gathering at Mol is correct?

And yes, as Championship Wolves don't matter - I was surprised but it's definitely how it is, the National press almost completely ignored that we'd been sponsored by Moneyshop and had a 14k+ petition against it, if that had been a Prem club would have been all over National sports news. It's why (certainly if it's Robin Li rather than Ding Lei) this is so ace, because the World is changing, going global, only Prem and other Countries top Division equivalents matter now, and we were getting left behind in the Championship completely and permanently.

17.) 12 Jul 2016 11:13:18
I don't care if it Ding Lei, Robin Le, or Bruce Lee for that matter, I for one will be happy in a takeover that will inject some new ideas and fresh direction into WWFC. Some of the quotes regarding Ding Lei being a dissapointment are a joke, quit ya moaning and embrace a new horizon.
OUT OF DARKNESS COMMENTH LIGHT.

18.) 12 Jul 2016 11:27:40
Well said Sydney Wolf 🐺.

19.) 12 Jul 2016 11:48:25
Ding Lei is potentially no different from a hoard of other rich foreign owners of British football clubs, for all we know Ding could be another Viktor Tan with crazy ideas, he has money but it takes more than that and we have no evidence he has it. Plus the link with him looking to invest in Zimbawe, in the Robert Mugabe regime is appalling. I'm not embracing an owner that is willing to be involved in Zimbawe, SJH would spin in his grave.

Whereas Robin Li is something really special, he might be worth £11billion now, but it's from innovation rather than licensing (like Ding) , so in a few years time as his innovations grow, he could be worth massively more, like over $50billion. He is connected to UN, has proper understanding of Western business and culture. By association he would naturally gift the club and Wolverhampton a very positive image, Ding wouldn't.

20.) 12 Jul 2016 13:24:45
Interesting observations Ulf.
The wall of silence is incredibly frustrating. but I see it as clear evidence change is in the air. just hope it is as exciting as we are all imagining!

21.) 12 Jul 2016 13:52:28
Ulf, I have read a lot of your posts in the past, whether long or short.
Some of the stuff you have to say is very interesting, some other not so much, where do you get all your information from? Are you a politician 😆

Joking aside, when the tumours or Ding Lei appeared 6 months ago or so, I don't remember anything untowards him then, nor do we really know anything other than what we can read on internet about Robert li, they both are a unknown until recent press, so I embrace it, neither will be any worse than the current regime which is draining out beloved club of anything it has.

22.) 12 Jul 2016 14:02:34
I have missed you Ulf.

I am very interested to see how the club and the brand is marketed globally.

23.) 12 Jul 2016 15:08:52
lol I google loads and follow tangents, add that to my mine of useless information, pictures come together and then I try to paint them :-)

It seems Ding Lei was touted as being interested in Wolves in December, maybe just because he was in the area - at the time he was travelling outside of China, that maybe included Europe, maybe even Wolverhampton, but apparently definitely included him visiting Zimbawe to consider investing there. That's such a bad connection, Robert Mugabe gets his forces AK47's from China, which is kind of illegal as his forces have a habit of committing crimes with them. Our Monarchy won't even talk to Robert Mugabe, so I don't think S-Union-JH would want his beloved Wolves selling to someone who'd consider investing in, is maybe even to some extent already involved in Zimbawe (like many Chinese already are) .

That aside, there's nothing bad against Ding Lei, and he does have money, and the club need a new wealthy owner. He's just not automatically incredibly good like Robin Li is, who's like a Chinese Richard Branson. If Robin Li I think it's safe to assume we are in the best hands possible, if it's Ding Lei imo he'll need to prove himself.

and re WABFK Ty, though I'm not sure many miss me - I got put on 24hour delayed pre-mod on Mol Mix ages ago, and even though my posts then got vetted by a Mod first before being posted, I still got warnings! They so wanted me not to post :-P.

11 Jul 2016 17:29:33
Powell having medical.

J.GOUGH

1.) 11 Jul 2016 17:46:50
Good glad were getting him we need someone like him.

2.) 11 Jul 2016 17:53:35
Does this mean the takeover is confirmed? When are we going to get the Official statement, I need to settle my nerves 😎.

3.) 11 Jul 2016 18:26:32
how do you know that mate its not on any sites.

4.) 11 Jul 2016 18:31:16
Got this feeling all this take over talk is one big elaborate hoax wish the club would just come out and say something really want my beloved club back in the big time.

5.) 11 Jul 2016 18:36:48
You reckon announcement of take over and Powell as 1st signing 2moz?

Plus there is something happening with the online ticketing through 2night.

6.) 11 Jul 2016 18:49:52
I've heard that they have shut the ticket office so can't buy no tickets why do that when the takeover is happening.

7.) 11 Jul 2016 19:18:31
Easy . Tickets will cost a lot more after the deal is announced.

8.) 11 Jul 2016 19:22:48
Precisely because the takeover is happening. Ticket sales going through the new system tomorrow will belong to the new company.

11 Jul 2016 16:36:05
Takeover done. Prepare for statement.

J.GOUGH

1.) 11 Jul 2016 16:42:53
We're you here this mate.

2.) 11 Jul 2016 16:45:10
And your news comes from which source or should I say sauce!

3.) 11 Jul 2016 16:56:22
Load o rubbish.

4.) 11 Jul 2016 16:59:58
Jonzy ITK off mol mix sayin same in round about way. Looks Good👍.

5.) 11 Jul 2016 17:02:01
When is this statement then?

6.) 11 Jul 2016 17:16:45
You've heard this from where exactly?

7.) 11 Jul 2016 17:18:06
J. GOUGH. pretending to be on the board at the Molineux me thinks 😂.

8.) 11 Jul 2016 17:41:14
I second that, southbank.

9.) 11 Jul 2016 17:50:48
Is this the same J. Gough who was constantly saying the takeover was off last week?!

10.) 11 Jul 2016 18:14:29
Jonzy is a muppet, you can find any of his ITK statements anywhere.

11.) 11 Jul 2016 18:27:21
twitter and forums are buzzing I think its happening.

12.) 11 Jul 2016 18:27:25
Aint he supposedly on the boggies board?!

13.) 11 Jul 2016 18:46:55
That's the one Poz!

14.) 11 Jul 2016 20:11:31
I'm positve Iv'e met his Brother, Farqh in Poorthorns.

15.) 11 Jul 2016 20:42:00
I would strongly urge that we all stay grounded. I fear the worst of disappointment if this Robin Li "deal " rumour proves to be false. I don't want to hear of people topping themselves or worse still switching to WBA.

I believe that Mr Morgan told a friend 2/ 3 weeks back that there was no solid offer from anyone. I realise that the Li deal could have developed subsequently and I sincerely hope that this is the case.

16.) 11 Jul 2016 21:06:16
I think it was kicked into sudden action by Brexit and the subsequent drop in the value of £Sterling, making it cheaper in real terms for foreign money to buy the club. But it seems the buyer had a lot of groundwork sorted, so they must have just been sticking over price / terms and maybe Morgan was playing it cool? It will be interesting to find out if we do how much Steve Morgan held out for.

And it seems it's definitely happening, so if you're concerned about people topping themselves, you should check the official West Brom forum, they have a Dingle Watch thread in Other Sport, that up until this was certain we were irrelevant history, now they're not very happy at all and increasingly so lol :-)

06 Jul 2016 23:51:38
Press announcement tomorrow dinner time from WWFC . Congratulations.

J.GOUGH

1.) 07 Jul 2016 05:48:04
Where does it say this?

2.) 07 Jul 2016 06:20:24
Ignore. Bs, again.

3.) 07 Jul 2016 06:35:52
Why do you keep congratulating j gough? Why.

4.) 07 Jul 2016 07:47:58
The Daily Mirror story by Alex Richards on Wednesday evening did say Robin Li was one of two buyers to enter into a NDA with Wolves. NDA means non disclosure. It's usually exclusive to one buyer but doesn't have to be. Exclusivity isn't always given. I think when the retail chain BHS was put up for sale by the receiver recently, more than one NDA was in place.

If the Mirror story was correct, it could mean two desperate buyers slugging it out. It could also mean Morgan was playing hardball. It could be a good method of sorting the men from the boys and pushing the sale through.

Maybe it was Robin Li versus Ding Lei or versus a Moxey or American consortium.

5.) 07 Jul 2016 08:28:15
You said that yesterday that it would be today, you can't keep saying press conference tomorrow and claim to be in the know it will come true eventually.

6.) 07 Jul 2016 09:00:57
If nothing announced by tomorrow we are into injury time. Agonising. Obviously something bi g is happening and it might be a desperate race to see which buyer can get the deal over the line.

7.) 07 Jul 2016 09:20:36
Please clarify, when is dinner time to you j gough? Is it evening/ night or lunch/ pm? Congratulations if you know.

8.) 07 Jul 2016 09:39:36
Was just going to ask the same. 12 noon or 5pm.

9.) 07 Jul 2016 09:53:13
He is using the name of a wolves board member says it all really, another wind up merchant, this forum would be so much better without the idiots who come on here spoiling it for the decent posters.

10.) 07 Jul 2016 10:03:27
I think I will have to switch my phone off for a couple of days. the whole its happening, its off, is doing my head in. With the time difference down here i'm waking up in middle of the night to check my phone.

Come on get it done Morgan!

11.) 07 Jul 2016 11:03:40
Is today the day?

12.) 07 Jul 2016 11:43:13
Who knows which day. Pay no attention to j. gough it was posted close to midnight yesterday. I see moxit is back too saying tomorrow, again ignore. Its waiting game. Even Bully left guessing.

13.) 07 Jul 2016 11:44:57
Doubt it.

Jackett gone. Announcement Wednesday.

J.GOUGH

1.) 27 Jul 2016 06:42:36
Load of crap.

2.) 27 Jul 2016 06:55:37
Jacket gone . oh no I found it.

3.) 27 Jul 2016 08:00:10
On what basis do you predict Jackett is gone
Where did that come from.

4.) 27 Jul 2016 08:58:01
I'm sceptical they would sack him straight after publicly backing him - BUT if Mendes has found someone else, then maybe.
It might explain why Jackett said on the bench while Gallen and Edwards coached the game last night. Gallen also spoke to the press instead of Jackett.

5.) 27 Jul 2016 09:10:02
Is it coincidence that Wolves have a director called J Gough? Is the op pretending to be someone he or she isn't?

John hopefully tomorrow . he deserves some respect how he's kept the ship afloat so a day of wishing Kenny well from the media and fans is well deserved before the spotlight goes onto the new manager. We need to crack on the new season isn't far now and the consortium led by Mr Li are going for it.
