Dicko out for the season. Clubs don't want to sell their strikers. We should get someone in on an emergency loan. Isaiah Brown Kwesi Appiah

DurhamWolf

{Ed001's Note - the club are desperately trying, a bid has gone in for Sinclair of Liverpool, for a permanent deal.}

1.) 01 Sep 2015 16:54:36
No need to panic. Loan window opens before next game and after Premiership teams have named their squads. Would make sense to take our time and reflect on what and who we really need. Also got this period of time to look at fringe players in closed door friendlies.

2.) 01 Sep 2015 17:00:07
It's pay over the odds time. Can't take SInclair on loan as we already have one Liverpool loaned.

{Ed001's Note - you are trying to buy him, he is in the last year of his contract and turned down the offer of a new one from Liverpool.}

3.) 01 Sep 2015 17:32:35
Careful if you are driving through Sandwell seems to have been a spillage of toys n dummies on the road!!!!!!!!

01 Aug 2015 12:33:36
Wolves might be planning hijacking Sheffield Wednesday's offer for Kenwyne Jones.

DurhamWolf

1.) 01 Aug 2015 13:03:14
Or may go for Southamptons Mayuka as he has been told he has no future at Southampton

2.) 01 Aug 2015 13:15:05
Maybe not as good as he was but wouldn't say no think would make impact combing off bench in games

3.) 01 Aug 2015 14:30:14
Is he better than enobakhare, Reid of Wilson? If so why not we need back up and someone like him, a target man is what we need

4.) 01 Aug 2015 17:09:04
No McDonald in squad today??

If he goes then i'm really worried with what is happening behind the scenes.

Things definitely aren't the way it should be. Just wish they would tell us what's going on.

As for Jones would be an excellent signing.Prefer him to mason as it gives us another dynamic.

5.) 01 Aug 2015 19:19:41
Kmac had back strain injury so not risked bright ebackonhair score awesome goal at donny today went round four players to score

6.) 01 Aug 2015 19:32:07
No need to worry dot he's got a back injury and Kenny confirmed that in his post match interview after game he'll be back in training at latest of Tuesday

7.) 01 Aug 2015 20:14:08
Thanks for calming my nerves guys.

Good to see the young lads get on the score sheet today.

Maybe we got the next Robbie Keane lol.

8.) 01 Aug 2015 21:13:39
Give the kid a chance. He will be happy to sit on the bench and learn his trade and obviously has talent and an eye for goal

31 Jul 2015 13:12:48
We have take former Crewe winger Ryan Colclough on trial. He will play against Doncaster tomorrow.

DurhamWolf

1.) 31 Jul 2015 19:47:44
No no don't want him anywhere near our club .trouble.

2.) 01 Aug 2015 13:23:35
Hednesford wolf can't be more trouble than we have with Morgan/moxey not spending any money

30 Jul 2015 12:53:16
We've signed another lad from the Southend academy much like Iorfa. Another one for the future still no real investment in the first team.

DurhamWolf

1.) 30 Jul 2015 14:41:49
Marvelous.

2.) 31 Jul 2015 11:28:09
8 days to go and no replacement for Sako in sight. Jacket said recently we had no credible plan B last season - well, several lacklutre pre-season performances later and it's difficult to see what plan A is. Edwards lined up on the left of midfield on Tuesday and our two most creative midfield players, McDonald and Henry, could both be gone by the end of August. Add to that Wallace is injured and probably won't be match fit for 2-3 months as he has missed almost all of the pre-season warmup and it's difficult to be optimistic about the coming season. A couple of signings and a new contract for McDonald would change all this but we're leaving it late! I don't think we'll struggle but as things stand mid table beckons.

3.) 31 Jul 2015 12:59:57
I see B'ham have just signed Torral from Arsenal for the season -he could have done us a job on the wing. I hope Jacket and Moxey have an ace up their sleeve before the end of the August!

4.) 31 Jul 2015 13:10:32
No additions and the fans will want Jackett out by November! Ambition LMFAO

5.) 31 Jul 2015 16:38:22
As unrealistic as that reads Tamworth that could very well be the case if we start the season badly or pick up a couple of injuries early on and slide down the league.
The fans won't blame kJ for what's going on' this is down to Morgan and his stooge, but we all know who will pay for a bad season with his job'or will he,Morgan might be happy to have us floating around in the championship'while other clubs get wealthier and wealthier.
I don't think Morgans heart is in it anymore, and the lack of transfer activity into the club makes it look obvious'to me and a few others anyway'perhaps new owners might be the way forward?

6.) 31 Jul 2015 17:06:56
Normally I am optimistic about the team but not this time. I know we tend to make signings as the season goes on but we still don't want a bad start. Kenny won't want to be running a team that he can't improve and like Millwall he might walk out and join a team trying to get out of league 1 or another team who had a bad start but who are willing to spend money.

7.) 31 Jul 2015 17:20:58
Not unrealistic at all!! Fans are fickle me included, your as good as your last result as a manager and if we start badly there will be calls for his head! And it doesn't help when KJ's number 2 says he will be more than happy with the squad that played villa!! Moxey and Morgan will love hearin that!!

8.) 31 Jul 2015 17:43:35
One look at the squad for tomorrow tells you how weak we are. What did Jacket say recently? "Two players for every position." We don't have a left sided player, we have no backup to the strikers and our midfield still looks suspect beyond Mcdonald and Coady. I wasn't surprised we didn't strengthen last summer because of the size of the wagebill with all the hangers on from the McCarthy and Solbaken days - not so this summer, just plain old lack of ambition.

9.) 01 Aug 2015 10:13:21
Paul I'm not happy with that, gallen saying he is more than happy with squad, those sort of comments will make wolves fans feel angry as anyone can see that this squad is not strong enough it missed out last year and looks weaker this year if we don't get good start all sorts of questions will be asked .
I do hope that K.J. and is staff are allowed to do there job and are given transfer money because something doesn't seam right I have never seen we this tight as a f.c.

10.) 01 Aug 2015 18:32:15
K.J is a amazing manager he has done loads to make the club a better one Kenny said that he was wanting to makes young side with great potential let him do his job.

11.) 02 Aug 2015 18:00:51
Kenny will only spend money if he will get value for money.
Really we will have to spend big money to improve the squad.
Defence is well covered and who can we sign to improve what we have.
Midfield. Good kids who as wolves fans we want to see in the first eleven.
Front 2 best in the league by a country mile.
Who can we sign to get straight into the first team.
Give Kenny the credit he deserves.
If he needs to spend he will, but to improve what we have will cost millions.
Wolves aye we.

26 Jul 2015 20:35:41
So now we've been liked with Lloyd Dyer. Only rumour though Kenny did want him in January.

DurhamWolf

1.) 26 Jul 2015 21:56:25
Please no

2.) 27 Jul 2015 02:43:03
Kenny want dyer in January Watford only said no as we was 4 points behind them at the time I can see this happing tbh him or noone would do me

3.) 27 Jul 2015 07:46:49
Lloyd Dyer is 32 and could barely get into watfords team last season so got sent on loan to Blues. Just can't see him being the type of player Kenny would want. swapping Jacobs (23) or a player nearly ten years older with a reputation for being a trouble maker in the back ground just doesn't add up unless were getting him cheap and Moxey just wants it to look like they are doing some work getting players in.

4.) 27 Jul 2015 08:05:52
Dire would pretty much sum it up

5.) 27 Jul 2015 09:47:12
If Dyer is the type of player KJ is now going for, GOD HELP US. He was crap at Watford & had a very poor loan spell at The a Blues! KJ needs to keep well away.

Wolves have announced that they will be having talks with Adam Le Fondre today and that they are also interested in Ojo but they are now t as far along in talks as Le Fondre

I've heard a lot of talk of us bringing in Mayuka as a third choice striker and I think we should. Bright Enobakhare is good but I wouldn't say he's old enough for regular team football in the championship but he could be used in emergencies. Say if any of the strikers got injured he could come in and give backup.

27 Jul 2015 18:38:34
Michael Jacobs is now officially a Wigan player. This better mean a replacement is coming soon.

DurhamWolf

1.) 27 Jul 2015 19:49:21
For gods sake don't hold your breath it could be a long fatal wait.

25 Jul 2015 17:32:11
Thee youngsters who are having a fine pre season, Chuba Akpom, Alex Iwobi and Rolando Aarons. Akpom could be a decent third striker, and Alex Iwobi who just scored a cracking goal against Lyon could be a good signing on load as a replacement for Sako. Aarons is the most unrealistic as he wants to focus on his Newcastle career but he is super talented for a 19 year old. I'm just putting names out there I think they would be good signings.

Looks like we might just be using Van La Parra as a striker. Kenny says it's because he likes pacey strikers. Just seems like a way to not spend money. I'd say to be safe bring in a proper third choice striker like this Sam Gallagher on loan. Any suggestions?

I think Martinez is stronger competition for Ikeme and possibly means McCarey out on loan.

Kmac and Henry won't go. Don't need another goal keeper. Tyias Browning would be a good signing.

Mayuka would be the perfect Wolves bargain. Young and cheap.

I think Mayuka would be a great signing. He's a lot like Dicko and although people might thinks he is terrible he has a decent scoring record that I think KJ could get out of him at wolves

I like Ruben Reid but I kind of wish we would go for a striker who is proven in this league. I really think we should try hard and get Chuba Akpom on loan because I think we would then have the best strike force in the league. I also think we should go for Emmanuel Mayuka from Southampton. Even though he didn't score at Southampton I think Kenny has good man management skills and could get the best out of him.
