The problem with both Doc and Jonny is that they are wing backs. That entails going forward AND back. They both tend to lose possession in the opposing half and then just stroll back. That then leaves the back 3 exposed on the counter. Unfortunately you have to do the dirty work as well. I appreciate they’ve played a lot of games but there is no excuse for that!

Timmy T spot on, people saying some fans should look up FFP should maybe have a look themselves. We wouldn’t e offering £30m for Rugani or £27m for Kessie if we were being restrained y FFP 🤷â€â™‚ï¸.

Let’s get real here, everyone saying the business done so far in this window is really good. Who honestly had heard of Vallejo, Cutrone or the two young Portuguese fellas before we were interested in them. I follow a lot of football and had possibly heard Cutrones name once before.

If we bring in another similar to Dendonker we will struggle. We need some creativity to open up stubborn defences.
A CAM is what we need.

We don’t have the cover in midfield as you’ve put Dendonker in twice, so only 17 players.
Saiss and MGW are ok but not game changers (yet) . Surely we need a CAM in the shape of someone like Dani Olmo. We couldn’t unlock stubborn defences last season, that needs to be addressed.
