This is where we probably are by now. Once the sale is agreed the club has to submit a declaration to the FA under the owner's and director's test regulations. The FA need 14 days to do their bit and reply to the club. The new owner can not be confirmed and take ownership of the club before this process is complete.
As it seems we may have notified the FA over a week ago we can only hope they are not spinning their wheels while they faff about trying to find an England manager.

We can speculate all we like but until the last bit of the jigsaw falls into place the club can't say anything in case the new owner doesn't pass the fit and proper person test.
IF we have got to this stage with the FA it should all be looking good and explains why people keep saying the sale is agreed but no announcement has been made.

So chill over the weekend and look out for the Sky van next week! I'm starting to believe!

One small amendment Gordon, it's the Football League not the FA.

Where is the proof of anything anyone has said not one scrap of evidence not one person has even had the decency to deny or show evidence of a takeover.
