Ikeme was furious with himself for being at the centre of the incident in such a vital game and took exception to Saunders's criticism and slammed his fist into a wall, injuring himself and forcing Wolves into a substitution, with Dorus de Vries appearing for the second period.

Saunders claimed after Wolves' 2-1 win that Ikeme had injured his hand during the game in the first half but the damage was self-inflicted at the interval. Ikeme, 26, had an x-ray at the weekend and Wolves fear he has fractured a bone. He is expected to be sidelined for at least a month and may not play again this season.
THE TRUTH PLEASE DEAN!?

He is a disgrace - considering the position we are in and lack of cover what a total waste of space. Was he expecting Deano to say well done - i'd transfer him in the summer for that reason alone. We need everyone pulling in the same direction and another example of the wolves players trying to dictate - some Army Deano is major of - proper lads army.

Is hennessy still injured?

Silly thing to do if that his true, seams to have made 2 silly mistakes in 1 day, hope our next keeper comes in and can keep him out of side when he his fit, that's the only way to learn him

Poor man management by Downo Saunders! Criticising the keeper after the mistake instead if trying to restore his confidence before the second half?'. I think it's Downo that's the disgrace here!

I would have fined him for leaving us without goalkeeping cover. Both players got the rollicking they deserved, one punched the tactics board the other rolled his sleeves up. Did you see DD celebrate when SEB scored the relief was there to see.

One other point - we all post on here how we should give youth a chance, and how we are prepared to forgive honest mistakes where effort is there. Effort is there in both DD & CI, time to forgive and forget.
