I'm sure that I will get many detractors but to me the man that deserves huge credit for the overall performance this season is Leander Dendonker. He broke through around the turn of the year and has transformed Wolves midfield since. He has given stability and consistency and as a result Neves and Moutinho have thrived. Get him signed up permanently and a challenger for player of the season IMO.

I think most fans were puzzled by his lack of game time at the start of the season. Leander has been excellent. Jota has been a different player in this system, which has also helped.

You shouldn't get many detractors Mike because you are right in your assessment. Dendoncker has been great in midfield, allowing Nuno to tweak the formation after the dodgy run of results and we have gone from strength to strength.

Player of the season is going to be a tough choice!

Dendonker the donkey! Has. a nice ring to it and that is exactly it, since he came into the team he has done the spadework in midfield allowing Mourinho and Neves to create I think it would be fair to say that we would not be in seventh place but for Dendonkers brilliant contribution long may it continue, onwards and upwards WHAT A SEASON! COYW.

Nuno changed the formation because we were getting beaten in the middle so a forward was sacrificed for a third CM that gave Donk his chance and he has been superb does any team have a better midfield than Wolves?
