Same old, same old, when is Nuno going to address the same recurring lack of finishing, no cutting edge. He keeps saying work hard , improve, but lack of quality finishing . 0-0 against a poor Brighton team, season petered out big time .

I think we would all agree that we need another striker to support / compete with Raul and Diogo, but in my opinion a big part of the problem is a lack of goals from central midfield [apart from set pieces]. None of our current central midfield consistently make runs ahead of the strikers into the box. This needs to change either via the way we play or by bringing in new players.

The relegation battle would be all over if it wasn't for our form against the lowest teams this year!
Ah well! The sun is shining brightly!

Had a feeling Brighton would turn up and park the bus and that's exactly what they did. Nuno needs to work on this over the summer so we can push on.

When we had an attacking midfielder Dave Edwards he didn't service the strikers and it was frustrating to watch also remember that we were wanting three in the middle because teams were taking us apart in 343 so Dendoncker came in at the expense of Costa

Our midfield probably can attack but their instructions are to keep their shape.

Why bring Dendonkey on when you have potential game changers like Costa and Cavaliero on the bench?

Im sorry but Costa hasn't changed many games this season!

There really is no pleasing some folk, top 10 finish, cup semi final first season back in premier league with the best team we have had since the 1970s, reality check for some “ supporters “.

Well said sdav78. I would have settled for mid table security and a decent cup run at the start of the season. This is a major project which will take a few seasons to perfect.

With a little more luck some of our efforts would have gone in, then we would have been 7th. That would put us above all expectations when we were in the championship. Take a reality check. We have had a great season. We have all seen some of the best football by Wolves for years. enjoy it and trust we will build.

We’d have all settled for what we’ve achieved this season but ; the lads set their own standards raising hopes and expectations along the way but now seem destined to undo all the promise shown with a string of poor results. Wolves ay we.

That's the trouble we we're even talking 6th place a few weeks ago but even if we don't get 7th it's still a good season and we're among teams like Everton and Leicester that would normally beat us

Remember half this team joined us in the Championship Doc goes back much further Bennett too with Norwich then Coady Saiss Costa around before Nuno while others are young players brought in by Nuno at good prices like Neves Jota and Bolt

Only Patricio Moutinho Jiminez and to a lesser extent Dendoncker are really experienced internationals with decent teams

We have done really well and Nuno will continue to improve the team I wouldn't be surprised if Costa leaves and Traore maybe Bennett and players out on loan and we bring in more like Moutinho and Jiminez a top 6 bid for Jota Neves or Boly would be difficult to fend off and Liverpool might want Coady back!
