Not sure how he thinks Chelsea did it with their mediocre history before Abromovich, unless he is trying to point out top players only go to London or the big lights of driery Manchester. Continued high finishes will attract players as yes they are mostly money orientated but some still join to try and win things.

Nuno has a charisma and I imagine a 'fatherly' approach, neves vinaigre gibbs-white costa etc. Commands respect Coady Rui Doherty johnny etc. Add tactical knowhow and enjoyment in the success (think Cardiff think leicester) and you want to play for wolves. Add on the money and we're more attractive than a payroll to waste in the lights of big cities. (And as far as I recall Brum is England's 2nd city) . We're a niche club with history and massive respect and support (albeit mainly in middle aged groups) but young wolf cubs are awakening and we will thrive and attract. That why I for one would love Wolverhampton Wanderers to be displayed around the country and world in the FA cup final this year. But no mistakes we have to earn the right against the shrews and bristols (and fancy high earning liverpools) along the way. Pundits bloody pundits.

Has anyone ever been to Dortmund, Monchengladbach, Leipzig, Turin, Istanbul, anywhere in Russia or China? Not one of them a Mecca for class, culture, fashion, etc., and yet they have good teams that attract class players.

Abbeywolf, regarding your comment about young wolf cubs. I was chatting with an avid NUFC fan yesterday, who was telling me he has had to buy his 8 year old son a full Wolves kit as from last season he has become an avid Wolves fan. The lad walks round Newcastle city centre in his full kit while is Dad is wearing his Mags top.
How good is that?
Wolves are getting bigger by the day in the North East!
