Going to stick my neck out with my usual piece of pointless analysis based on what I've seen so far.

Take the other 19 teams.

We're unbeaten at home, drawing with two top-10 teams. Let's say on average we get 10 points from top 10 teams, 27 from the bottom 9. Obviously the mix won't be that, but it's an idea of where we're at.

Away we'll lose against the top 10, draw against 4 and win against 5 of the bottom 9. That's 19 points away.

That's a total of 56 points. Mid table. If we do better than that, we're really outperforming. If we do much worse then that's disappointing, not to mention the danger of a relegation scrap. Beating the bottom team away from home gives us some reassurance, but if we can win 14 times (9 home 5 away, say) - more than we have the last few seasons in the Premier - we'll be fine and by last season's standards, that's 8th place.

Love your pointless analysis Euro. I think we all run those scenarios through our minds. I am still confident of upper lower half finish; something to give experience to the squad, and to build on.
There will be surprise results though, I look forward to those in our favour. I am very impressed with our intent and desire to win.

If we get 56pts you'd all better get your passports out because we'll be going on a European tour. Burnley only got 54pts last season and finished 7th 56pts would be unbelievable I hope your right. UTW.

Great win at WH, however, as I’ve mentioned before, we have to be much more composed and clinical in front of goal, much more! It will cost us in the long term if we can’t address this aspect of our game. We are creating chances but, they need converting or at least a lot more than we are doing currently! Being positive not negative. I’m sure Nuno knows this anyway. 😉👍⚽️ Come on the Wolves.

Thanks Wimborne. Yes 1877 I think I got the position wrong. 7th with 54 is doable!

Wolvescoast - Maybe I'm being optimistic. But we did hold Man City and Everton at fortress Mol. Of course there will be surprises. We might win at Anfield and lose at home to Cardiff. Hopefully not too many nasty surprises though.

Yes, while our defence has been for the most part awesome, and our midfield too, our usual suspects - well, Neves, Jota and Costa - need to get on the scoresheet. Jiminez looks like the real deal and Leo isn't going to go away quietly either. Just think how far we'll go if that odd extra goal squeezes in.

Yes, Nuno knows what he's doing.
