Must admit this transfer is the opposite to what I thought it would be . who ever come in now won't have a full pre season . there's a lot of faffing about surely we will sign a cm and a top striker to save the embarrassment of bonatini as our top choice for our striker with all that money in bank it's becoming very boring. I would put a bid in for the two dembele spurs and Celtic hope the truth isn't to negative jas m.

Tbh I wish you'd stop whining you're getting boring. Shame there isn't a ignore option on here so I don't have to keep seeing your negative posts constantly.

I was thinking the exact same thing rated.
Coven what did you think was going to happen? Sign 10 new players for the first team because only neves was good enough?! It’s not working like that nunos building a team, a team that last year was good enough to easily survive the prem so only a couple of additions were needed. And we’ve signed one of the best keepers in the world.
As for targets it’s all been paper talk. What f fosun has a priority of say 5 players, we signed 2 of them and missed out on 3. That’s probably because they don’t want to live in Wolverhampton or fosun not prepared to pay stupid fees and wages. Even Man City prem champions missed out on Jorginho because he wanted to move to London.
And have you forgot about Jimenez who could be our main striker?
The embarrassment is you.

I very much doubt we will sign another Striker, Wolves don't have 3 man depth in the senior team in any other position.

Wolves need an additional RWB, LWB, CM and CB, those signings will be the priority ahead of blowing 20M+ on another Striker, if there is something you should be concerned about it is that if Matt Doherty or Neves gets injured we have no viable alternative!

Jimenez will be first choice, Bonatini second in the ST position.

Why wouldn't incoming players have a full pre season. Surely they're training with their current club.

Tbf both Rated RKO and Manc Wolf you both need to get off Coven Wolf's back. End of the day he's a fellow wolf. Just because he has a difference of oppinion doesn't give you the right to make your comments personal. if you don't like reading people's oppinion I would suggest unsubscribing to this site. Because I for one would rather read people's difference of oppinion that your pointless personal comments. He also has a valid point in than Bonantini stopped performing after Christmas. Subsequently as a result we had to get Afobe in Jan because clearly Nuno didn't trust him. Jiminez what has he achieved in his professional career for you to feel so confident that he's going to do the job? There's no right or wrong answer but do us all a favour. If you are having a bad day. Take it else where rather than bringing it to a Wolves Forum.

For those of you interested in football statistics, I pulled together the below list which sets out the 'performance' of the lead striker for each Premier League team who stayed up last season, in this list performance = goals or assists/ minutes played, the list goes in order of position last season and starts with team, followed by striker, followed by how many minutes between a goal or assist on average last season.

Man City - Aguero - 73
Man Utd - Lukaku - 125
Spurs - Kane - 93
Liverpool - Salah - 68
Chelsea - Giroud - 121
Arsenal - Aubameyang - 76
Burnley - Wood - 149
Everton - Tosun - 198
Leicester - Vardy - 155
Newcastle - Gayle - 218
Palace - Zaha - 182
Bourneouth - Wilson - 199
West Ham - Arnautovic - 137
Watford - Gray - 187
Brighton - Murray - 182
Huddersfield - Mounie - 206
Southampton - Long - 394

For Reference:

Wolves - Bonatini - 145
Benfica - Jimenez - 97

Obviously you can't read too much into the stats but I think it is interesting, Jimenez didn't get a huge amount of game time but his goal/ assist rate in the time he was on pitch is 5th highest on the list i've compiled behind Salah, Aguero, Aubameyang and Kane

Bonatini would sit 9th.

There is a difference between having an opinion and trolling, I suspect Coven of the latter I also think he is Wednesfield Wolf.
Also disagreeing with someone doesn't mean anyone is having a bad day it's called having a difference of opinion, Covens posts are constantly negative.
Maybe you should take your own advice One_life_one_wolf telling people to get of a forum just because you disagree with what they say, who made you site owner?
You should re-read your post too, you'll see it.

Thank God there was nothing in the Shane Long rumour then, although I seem to remember one or two on here wanted him. I'd name em and shame em if I could remember who they are!
