It might be controversial, and I might be biased, but i'm going to say it. Look at Warnocks comments, and the farcical awards, and there is only one conclusion. There is a shocking amount of racism in football still. Its very sad!

The saddest part is, it used to be the "small minded" fan to blame. Now the chips are down, and the money is on the table, its the people in power, the hierachy, who are showing their true colours, and it certainly ain't "white English". Truly shocking.

I'd like to say you are wrong but there's still a strong stink of xenophobia kicking around in some of the comments made in interviews! Like you say when Warnock (basically) said 'maybe that's the way these foreign managers do it but they need to learn the English way' I mean c'mon if I said that a work about a 'foreign' manager then I would (rightly) be facing a disciplinary!

Also how dare Warnock say that, as Nuno (nicely) dropped into the response he's managed in the Champs League and what he needs experience tips from a Championship slugger like Neal?!

So yeah I think you have a point here, but in fairness I do think it is mostly the old skool british boys that do it (Warnock, Pulis, Allardyce etc) . Just a big old boys club right now (literally) . I hope (maybe foolishly) that with the new breed this will be a thing of the past, I mean just look at Rowetts humble comments before our match!
I also think here (regarding the awards) there's a fair amount of jealousy as well.

Cause I reckon some of the voters would have been put off voting for Neves because they bitterly thought 'he should never having been playing for Wolves anyway so I'm going to vote for the home grown English lad!
Hey ho, if jealously is the price of success then we better all (myself included) start getting thicker skin cause with Fosun more success could/ should be on the cards! COYW ;)

Well I'm surprised that you're surprised. There was a national vote that confirmed the county wanted to keep " Jonny Foreigner" out of the U. K. even to the detriment of our economic well being and now the "Windrush" issue which is an absolute disgrace to the U. K. It's about time we realised we now live in a global world where there is no room for such bias and prejudice.

I voted brexit and I'd vote it again, why be forced to shop at a corner shop when there's a global supermarket? Euro is at almost 1.16 today, and my prediction when we finally break free is that other countries will follow suit and the EU will collapse. Countries are just watchin how it works for us. If votin Brexit makes me a racist so be it. Anyway back to footy, I'd imagine season ticket prices will be out this week👍.

Paul, I'm not saying anyone that voted for Brexit is a racist but the big issue undeniably is concluded to be immigration. It demonstrates an undercurrent of xenophobia IMO.

I'd just stick to the footy side of things on this board mate and leave politics, race and religion to another board. 👍.

Tetenhall think you making something out of nothing.
Warnock is a football manager and will say and do anything to give his team more chance of success. this talk of racism and xenophobia does only harm and no good at all.
