Just been reading that Mario Balotelli was booked by the ref during a Ligue 1 match for complaining about fans hurling racist abuse at him. Unbelievable in this day and age. These people are just plain ignorant. The ref just as bad for booking Mario and the club too for not taking action against these so called fans.

Jas- its am absolute disgrace mate! How is this being ignored at this day in age, mind we can hardly be surprised when you consider who FIFA have given the next two WC's too sadly says it all really! Mind you its hard for the ref because they can't change a country and have to try and control the game. What should happen is that ANY team that has a serious contingent of fans found doing that should be made to play behind closed doors for 5 matches with any tv moneys forfeited to race related charities (rolling on for as many games as it happens)! If FIFA bought something like that in watch European clubs clamp down on it overnight, got to hit um where it hurts! Just has NO place in society for it much less football! ; (.
