Can't say anymore about the team that hasn't already been said. they were great but what about the fans. they were fantastic. when the whole stadium got on their feet an applauded the passing move that nearly led to a goal in the second half it brought the hairs up on the back of my neck.

Must say last night's game is right up there with my greatest matches. Some of the football played was just breath taking and had me pinching myself that it's actually us. That move in 2nd half you are on about Timtoo44, the cheering of every pass, then the stadium (including some villa fans) stood up and applauded, it literally brought tears to my eyes. So proud. And that atmosphere. wow. Hairs on the back of my neck stood up. We are on the verge of something truly special here. The giant has awoken. Out of darkness cometh light.

Also quick mention to villa fans. All banter and rivalry to one side, was good to see all the villa fans stand up and applaud when South bank started singing Carl Ikeme's name. The unity was heartening and I hope Carl was watching and could here and see EVERYBODY is behind him in his battle. UTW!
