Report on HITC that Spurs want Costa. £20m plus we get Josh Onomah on a season long loan. No thank you. There's a very good reason why Onomah can't get a regular place in the team. We don't want clubs cherry picking our best players and loaning us their dross.

Did you see/ read, the Jeff Shi interview yesterday Jas?
He made it perfectly clear he intends keeping Costa.

I know money talks in football, but it will be a major statement if prem clubs come knocking with big money bids for Costa, and we turn them down.

Not saying this deal should go through but to call Onomah dross shows you don't know anything about him. The reason he can't get in the side is because Spurs have a very good side and at 20 this kid is not ready for the prem yet. He has though made 13 appearances.
I hope we don't sell Costa but if we did and we wanted a loan player this would be a deal worth taking.

The Onomah part is groundless from what I read. Just the writer proposing a possible outcome.
