I see Dave Edwards has stated that the players are 100% behind PL. That statement should not be necessary if all is well.

If the players are 100% begin the manager then they should give him at least 100% on the pitch shouldn't they. They can turn up for work sometimes, but are not good enough! Can't always blame the boss, he can only work with what he's picked up, many of whom need to go.

However, he should have addressed the sharp end during the window, because there they are definitely not firing. More like shooting themselves in the foot along with us.

Sort yourselves out, consistency, work ethic. The structure needs addressing never mind anything else.

Whilst the statement may not be necessary it may be true rather than some sort of veiled threat.
