If Lambert does fall on his sword just remember Silva is only contracted till the end of the season at Hull and Shi was interested in him beforehand it was only his lack of English that cost him the job.
Personally I'd welcome him with open arms.

Why would a manager of a premiership club come to a club in div1 with a history of mismanagement and sacking managers? Get real, we are a smaller club than you seem to think.

Hull is primarily a rugby league town who only get anywhere near a full house unless one of the big four am in town. We have billionaire owners they have a bloke who wants to call them tigers our potential is huge. I'd say there's only one small club there mate.

We may be bigger than Hull on a few measures, but some on here seem to think we have some sort of right to be a Premiership club, and hence can attract the big managers, players. We have an owner who has spent circa £50m on what I guess he thought would be a quick trip to premiership riches, bit of a wake up call for him with a div1 club worth a lot less. We have had potential since Sir Jack, bless him, rescued us, and just what is that potential based on. past history of 50 years ago.
