So Kevin Thelwell has come out and said that Helder Costa is unlikely to stay beyond this season unless we are in the Premier League next year.
Try a little persuasion, KT. Don't let this lad go. We can afford him so money is not a problem. Suggest building a promotion winning team around him, bonuses' to get in the Premiership by May 2018. But whatever you do, this kid should not be allowed to walk away from Molineux.
This IS one player we must keep!

You'd do well to find any Wolves fan who would argue with that. Here's hoping!

So keven Thelwell comes out with a load of crap that any Wolves fan already nows that Held a Costa won't stay unless we are in premier, well if he had done is job right and recruited the right players instead of all the rubbish he is part of sighning then who nows, we could of been challenging for promotion instead of relegation.
We are a long way off promotion in my opinion and we should start again in January to sort it out, when is it going to end.

Where there is a will there is a way!
It all depends on the player and his representatives.
If Mendes was involved in bringing him here then you would think there would be some leverage. If he was offered a deal with trigger clauses in it (if a Prem team comes in over £10m for instance, or if we are relegated, or if one of our strikers scores a hat-trick), then he would be secure in the knowledge that 1. he will be getting first team football, 2. he is actually valued, 3. he has opt-outs for the future.
Come on Wolves, do some negotiating!
