Let's not get too nostalgic here. as much as I loved Robbie at wolves and as much as I'm sure he'd want to come back and do well for us let's be honest his legs just aren't up to it anymore. we need quality fresh blood to get us out of the mess were in at the moment and then hopefully move us up the table. not live on former Glory's.

You kidding? I think around three quarters of the fans would love Robbie back. Not just nostalgic daydreaming, he would still score goals.

Sorry, Wolfie. Only got half hour in him now at this level IMO.

Tim'thats true, this fixation with former players is mind bogling.

One things for sure we need to get some points because we are to close to the bottom for my liking, we are desperate for a goalscorer and without goals we are going nowhere and will be fighting relegation.

He could take up a player coach role. Yes we shouldn't look at former players in the late late 30's but the guy can be a leader in the dressing room something which is lacking. Also to point out that he knows where the net is no matter his age.
