When one looks at the spending under Solbaken then one realises what a failure that was. I'm not condemning him, I think we should have stuck with him but failing to do so cost a bomb. Now spending is cautious, as it should be. No point in buying expensive Championship players on long contracts who can't make the step up. On the one hand WW supporters want to rubbish anything, on the other hand they display no patience. Get behind the team and perhaps WZ and the rest may surprise you by the end of the season.

Couldn't agree more. Derby have a squad full of experienced championship hardened players. What division they in. oh the same one as us. Patience is needed, we're definitely in a better place now than at the start of July so enjoy the roller coaster.

I have been reading what some fans have been posting and I must say why would we buy players and have them on long term contracts when you know when we do get to the prem we will be able to atract more high profile players. Get then in on loan to get us out of this devision and then start spending big.
