According to the Sun "Arsenal boss Unai Emery is considering a bid for Wolves defender Willy Boly. The West Midlands club could potentially double the £10m they paid Porto for the 28-year-old Ivory Coast centre-back should he favour a move to Emirates Stadium. ".

If slab head Maguire is worth £80mil then Boly is worth at least £180mil.

£10m for Boly! They can do one. He must be among the top defenders in the PL just now.

Lescott went for £22m ten years ago, to put this into perspective. And they paid £50m for Kyle Walker.

More chance of Arsene Wenger coming out of retirement and turning out for Wiilenhall Colts Under 11’s on the left wing.

Just read an article where some fans are saying Ruben Neves should leave. Are they for real? Every player at the club has an important role. They may not produce outstanding performances every week but what they do is vital for the team. Neves didn't have the best of games against Besiktas but that one moment of genius led to Boly scoring the winner. I remember when MM signed Karl Henry. He said he wasn't the best player but what he did was tackle, break up play and pass the ball to better players. All we saw was a limited player who just sat in midfield and tackled players, however MM knew how important it was to have someone to do that job. Likewise Gary Breen. Not the best player but boy did he organise out defence so we were hard to beat.

Neves is playing a more defensive role now compared to the Championship. The simple reason is the higher standards in the PL. We virtually swept all before us in the Championship and Neves' defensive skills weren't so necessary. His game hasn't gone backwards, far from it, but he is simply following Nuno's game plan. The time will come when Neves will resume more of an attacking role.

Who would we rather have taking free kicks at the edge of the box?
