What would you pay him? He's currently on £160k a week at Atletico. How would those already at the club react to a player coming in and earning 3 times as much as them.

Thats not going to happen.
There is one thing that Mini does really well, and that is his man-management skills.
He will not upset a unified squad with such a highly paid individual.
I have no idea what Patricio and Moutinho are on but they are our most experienced pair. I doubt they are three times more that Neves!

When we buy it will either be a solid lower division player with a future - Maddison type - or someone we have never heard of - Jimenez type.

I think we would be mad to start splashing over inflated January millions in this window now that the objective is complete, a couple of minor signings to get us over the line maybe, hold back on the cash and make the marquee signings in the next one with more cash available!
