Hello guys just been reading that a deal with sporting has been agreed between to the clubs as wolves wanted to pay for him to stop wars between the clubs in the future it looks like the original 18m deal has been re-activated, With 11m going to sporting at 7m to Mendes, I wonder if this shows wolves are interested in one or two more of there players 🤔.

Well according to Lawrie D, we’ve probably done our transfer business! Maybe another one to come and that’s it?! ⚽️😉👍.

At least two, a centre mid and striker.

Earlier he said we would be surprised with how much they were going to spend. Now he is saying they are almost finished?
I think he is just sending a message, and the signing of Bonatini reiterates that message, that Wolves are not desperate to sign anyone and that they are only looking for value for the money, like Neves last year.

'Value for money' is definitely one of Fosun's requirements, and it is definitely the way to go.
Look at the deal we have agreed with Neves for the next five years.
Gives him stability, a good wage and first team football for the duration.
Then you have the "I'm brilliant brigade" who want huge wages, an agent with huge requirements, and they are just above average at best.
Better to bide our time, pick some good quality with the ability to get better, rather than buy those that think they are brilliant now.
Our business last year (and leading into this) has been first class. Loan deals for half decent players that have potential, with the ability to buy if it works out.
I have a feeling that is how we will go from here in - and why not Silva (o others) on such a deal?
We pay Milan a 'loan fee' and pick up his wages for the duration, then, if he does the business for us, we can buy him for the purchase price. that helps Milan and their FFP issues. If he tanks for us - in the best league in the World - then he is still in the shop window for 6-12 months for Milan to sell afterwards.

Re Andre Silva, it is good for him too (a loan) because if he doesn't like Wolves then he can leave. He isn't committing to a long term deal.
Might be the best approach for both sides.
