Posted about Quintero the other day. It seems to be gaining traction as every news outlet is talking about how we are in the frame to sign him.

As for the ins and outs of any
Potential deal. River Plate have the option of 4.5 million to sign at first refusal. which seems a shockingly low fee. Porto balls that one.

Which would likely mean us paying a hefty fee. People have spoken of him fitting in. In this case I would make the point a player of that quality surely just has to be brought in no questions. If it's achievable. Could play a Jack Wilshere type role. CM still.

{Ed002's Note - Porto would have to buy out the option and the remainder of his loan in order to sell him this summer.}

Or river plate do what we did with Afobe and buy him to sell him on for a quick profit, or a double ya money sale. i'd go with that.

If you change a team to quickly you run the risk of it not working, the wolves project will be a gradual process of changing (bringing in new players), in an ideal world we all want 7 or 8 new players to take us forward but you would need all of them to hit the ground running and that would never happen. To change so quickly would scare the hell out of me, Utw!

How is that different from changing the coach/ manager? Isn't that more dramatic but it happens all the time at even the top clubs.

I agree Dudwolf,

The jigsaw will have the right pieces in but not all in one rush but over a period of time. We will get the best available players.

Fosun is an investment giant amongst other things so will spend wisely and big but, not shy away if they are being taken for a ride.
