Sunderland are leading the race to sign Wolves winger Ben Marshall.
Marshall, a signing from last January when Paul Lambert was manager, has fallen out of favour under Nuno Espirito Santo at Molineux and hasn't played at all since the beginning of November.

Couldn't he be cover for Doherty?

I wouldn't mind seeing Iorfa come back from loan. As much as I respect Mick for his time at Wolves, I think Iorfa will lean more from Nuno and there is talent there, even though he had a shocker last season.

I agree that Iorfa should be given a chance.

There is more behind the scenes than us fans know.
But I know Iorfa, graham and dicko were good mates outside of football.
Nuno saw them as having a cliche and attitude with it.
That is why all 3 were moved out in the summer.
It’s funny but Wolves have come a long way in a short space of time. Have faith with Nuno and Fosun!
On the other hand we have issues we have to get round.
One is World Cup in 6 months so no international players are going to come when so many teams are desperate in prem.
second we will have to pay for any striker we want from a prem team they won’t be loans as each club will meet to abide by financial fair play and invest in quality possibly if you are Bournemouth for example with grabban and Afobe.
Thirdly is we can’t buy or bring in players that are going to bring an attitude or wreck the pack spirit.
COYW.

I always saw Graham out and about with Matt Doherty and Benik Afobe.

Have to say think I'd sooner see Iorfa back rather than signing just any old right back. Mostly because if we sign another RB then that's about it for Iorfa, was only a season or so ago that he was picked out to train with the England first team! there's definitely potential there its just weather Nuno can unlock it, if anyone can its him COYW ;)

You right Iorfa has a lot of potential but where do you see him playing at the minute?
I reckon he’s not disciplined defensively enough to play rwb. So I would say with his pace he should be looking at Bennett’s spot. Just because I think Bennett will struggle against pace in the prem. he might not though and do a craddock with how he reads the game. Plus the question is still over Iorfa defensively in that position. But it would be good to see Iorfa, hause and boly at the back just out of interest pace, power and now prem distribution from boly and hause. It’s important to remember though bullysboy that been selected for England youth isn’t a defining point of career. The defining points are when you win silverware. And then whether you want more. :)

Fair one anew, would definitely be interesting to see him on the right of a back three as he was originally a CB in the youth team. I would debate that with a bit of Nuno training he could have another crack at RB, in the first 18 months that he broke through he used to fly up and down that wing! Its is a funny one with him cause he was absolutely flying then got tied to West Ham at the back end of the window two seasons back and has NEVER been the same since! I do wonder as he was originally a Southend boy if he's got the call of London in his ear and its affected him since?
Also Anew you are of course right about the validity of England selection but I wasn't mentioning it to say as validation. More I suppose to say that out of a VERY talented England u21 squad (at that time) he was the one selected for the honour of first team training! I suppose what I meant was that's a lot of decent coaches that seem to have tipped his potential. Now (like you say) without proper application that means nothing but the lads still young so who knows. COYW.
