We have recruited well over the transfer period but I can't help feeling we will end up panic buying the last couple of players. £10 million for Hugill is being floated around. Really hope we have firm targets in mind rather than over paying for sub standard players.

The high risk signings are:
Hugill- one season scored 13 more of a target man
Rhodes- can he rediscover the form he had?
Wells- same as Rhodes hamstring injuries
Gayle- getting older but worth 20 goals issues with attitude and injuries
All those players you are looking at between 8m-18m.
I hope the number crunchers at Molineux have there calculators today.
It is probably best to take all reports on and judge on football rather than the past though.
I'm sure Mendes has a couple of aces up his sleeve.

I agree it doesn't make sense moving on 3 strikers unless there's a plan in place to replace them. Even Zyro is being talked about as going on loan. Leaves only Bonatini and to a lesser extent Cav as players who could pull it off at CF.
