Dicko confirming on Snapchat and Instagram he's off.

Said a "goodbye and thanks" message to fans.

Best of luck to him. I wouldn't have sold him personally. Especially to Hull!

wanderers 1986 with the quote of the year, words fail me!

Oh wanderers 1986 "that's magic" 😂.

Wanderers 1986, I know you have been used to it but you seem to be confirming that you prefer mediocrity and failure. These so called passion players were bought in Edwards from Shrewsbury and Dicko from Wigan so you can't tell me that they are Wanderers through and through. They seem happy enough to leave, I haven't heard complaints. Get behind the team and stop whingeing, you obviously don't like foreigners so what does that say?

These 'passion' players have had enough chances and proved they are not good enough to get us up.
It's good news that we are getting money for the likes of dicko and Edwards it shows that the club will be run well financially.
The bar is been raised at wolves let's embrace it, thanks to the old players for the service now let's move on and get excited about the future.
Let's hope molineux can be full every week and cheer these new lads on, if we don't fill it now we never will. Out of darkness cometh light.

Depends if you want to make success or buy success I like to watch players I am used to and I know their game and it's like I know them personally.

All these new players might wear the shirt but that's all they probably hadn't heard of Wolves before the Summer.

Wanderers 1986 obviously prefers where we were in 1986 prior to the Turner revolution. Stuck in the 4th division with passion players with zero quality! Both Edwards and Dicko are foreigners by the way so exactly what is your point 1986?

9.) 29 Aug 2017
29 Aug 2017 08:16:38
So called passion players were just lower league dross we are now going places and they no longer fit we've now outgrown them bigtime this is a new era and we have to embrace it I've been impressed and slowly its all coming together very nicely if and when we get promoted do you think we, ll all turn round and say I wish the passion players were still here to witness all this somehow I don't think so.

Let's not kid ourselves, most of the new players are using the club as a means of putting themselves in the shop window. First sign of interest from a bigger club and they will be off without so much as thankyou. The days of club loyalty are in the past just look at Coutinho and a few others.

We use them, they use us. I'm okay with that. Wolves need to get promoted as quickly as possible. Imagine the squad Mendes would build us if we are in the PL.

They maybe lupinhowler, but we've more chance of reaching the Prem with these players than the so called Passion players of the past. And surely the aim is Premier league football?

29 Aug 2017 09:12:16
Lupinehowler unless your Barcelona or Real every player is looking to prove and better himself then move on. There is virtually no such thing as a one team player anymore. So what's the problem?

I get the whole "passion players" being sad to see players who have been part of the club for such a long time go, but if they are no longer good enough and aren't going to be playing then what is the point in keeping them here, 1 for the sake of the club when we can use their sales as a way to balance the books abit with recent incomings and secondly for the player themselves? In Edwards case it's been quite clear when his played he can't play in the new system and being towards the end of his career now I think it's perfect for him to leave with his dignity in tact and make the most of what playing time he does have left now, wish them best and look to the future because these players aren't our future anymore. Also you have to look at the positives that the club and Nuno do still want to utilise our academy and the Southampton squad showed this! It's not all going to be a foreign invasion, we still want to produce our own, but I'd rather see our young talents coming through learning their trade along side players like neves and costa then the old guard!

Club loyalty went 20 odd years ago. Even the great Manchester United and Barcelona lose players to other clubs when there's enough money waived in front of them.
I would say the likes of dicko, sacko wouldn't have heard of wolves before coming to England foreign kids only know the rich and big clubs. Wolves are trying to get there, lord knows we have put up with enough mediocrity we deserve a bit of good football and hopefully success.
I can't understand the mentality of wanting to keep these old players when they have spent years at the club and failing is, I don't feel like I know them personally I feel like they should refund some of their handsome salaries to season ticket holders like me for boring me rigid every week. I can't wait for match days now for the first time in years.

Lets be positive Wolves fans and stop being negative like a few on here seam to be, we are only getting rid of the players who probably are nice guys but are not good enough to were we want to be, I for one are very excited of what's happening at my football club and Fosun have took us to another level which we should be proud of, and as far as players leaving football clubs its a way of life, even the best clubs lose there players if they want to leave there's not much you can do about it.
If you want our club to achieve something again like we did in the 50s then its the only way forward as a football club or you could always go back to the moxey and morgan days, I for one like the Fosun and Mendes way.
Come on you Wolves.

I know the natural default position of Black Country folk is one of pessimism and an overpowering sense that even if things are going well they are bound to all go wrong and end up disappointing you but come on lads!

P7 W5 D1 L1 F10 A4 seems a pretty damned good start to me

5 clean sheets in those 7 games

4th in the table

Averaging 2 points a game which usually guarantees you automatic promotion

The average and inferior players have just about all been cleared out

New exciting quality players have been brought in

We will be bringing in more players yet I believe

Most recent transfer windows we have bought no-one and maybe sold our better players but not anymore

At least 2 of the 5 Championship managers of teams we have played so far have come out and said we are the best team in the League

We have gone from 17-1 outsiders to 3-1 favourites to win the league

We beat a Premier League club on their pitch with our reserve team

We are being talked about and written about throughout the football media

Our supposedly best player, Costa, hasn't even played yet.

So come on, it's a great time to be a Wolves fan so enjoy it!

Wanderers 1986. Dicko is from Mali mate. Bodvarsson is from Iceland. Batth is half-Indian and wants to play for India not England. Edwards and Mason are Welsh. No arse is big enough for all them to be shoved up as well as the fancy Portuguese boys.
