Heard yesterday that Noah Dicko may have broken his toe. Maybe just a rumour - I hope so. Also, that Villa have asked Wolves if they would be interested in a straight swap for Ross McCormack with Danny Batth going the other way. McCormack has had his problems, but an out and out goalscorer when handled correctly, and you can't see Batth shifting Conor Coady who really is looking a top class player these days. What would you think on this one?

Keep Batth as he might not start every game but is a useful back up. No thanks to McCormack. He's caused issues everywhere he's been.

No truth in anything above esp batth to villa even dr CIA said nothing in it as for rm no thanks he got real deep lying issues that being in football won't help resolve so not for me afraid.

This is the worst rumour ever.
Dicko is injured but the club will react accordingly.
Mason wasn't in the squad either I would say that is a hint he is leaving. Linked to Bristol city and Fulham.
Bath won't be swapped for a trouble maker. He has a four year deal so he is worth 3-4 million with add ons. Plus Tony axis has said villa aren't interested they have 5 cbs! more likely Sheffield Wednesday or Celtic.
Fosun are not mugs they have stated they will make money out of our players as shown by the deal for bodvarsson, Saville and Wallace.
In terms of strikers I feel we have 15 players we have an eye on and 5 that we would seriously consider. But many more European based players on the radar.

1 gray
2 aboubaker
3 afobe
4 Gallagher
5 mitroglou.

Apparently Aboukar did poorly in playing International in a tourno recently. And Gray has baggage that surely conflicts with Wolves glamorous inclusive brand, and at 26 too developed to be a prospect.

Afobe for me. If that's not possible or as well, Gallagher maybe, though Bonatini looks good, don't know how many they think they need.

Afobe is just a no brainer, he's right in almost every way, if he'd come he'd be worth us paying top money for.

A player doing bad in a tournament is no way of judging a player. It was the confed cup with strong national squads in it. Germany, Spain, Portugal to name a few.

Gray does bring baggage and is similar to dicko.

Afobe is a strong shout and I would rather see 15-18m spent on him than gray.

It will be interesting can see us with 4 strikers before the end of the window. No chance of a repeat of last season.

Yes it was in Confederations Cup, apparently Aboubakar missed endless chances, like against Australia. It was the missing chances thing that worried me, I think we'll create plenty and just need someone to put them away. This Leo bloke may be the answer.

Maybe the Andre Gray Mirror story was just to make news and drive betting, or maybe a West Ham fan trying to put them under pressure to buy quick. It has a spurious / almost malicious line in it claiming Mendes is in charge of our recruitment.

I won't be happy if West Ham buy Gray, and Burnley buy Afobe. This is still all M&M's fault.

I don't care who we get if they score a hatful of goals in a (hopefully) successful season all this baggage talk etc won't matter!

I guess the thing with Fosun is they spend so much money on quality it changes the parameters of baggage. Like the Moneyshop shirt doesn't make Neves (& so Wolves) look cheap, he makes them look like they're probably a posh foreign currency dealer. Who knows how much quality they may end up bringing in, that could define the clubs brand regardless.
