Report from Nigeria that we have a new defender possibly on the way. Kenneth Omeruo from Chelsea. Never played for them been out on loan including Middleborough for 30 games in the championship. Can play right back or centre. Described as tall and rangy. Sounds like Iorfa replacement, hope this is not to do with attitude.

Yes I saw that 23 year old close to having medical but might stay and fight for his place 3mill been at Chelsea since 2013 hope he's better than the last one they sold us.

Bewdley. Agree we need 2 strikers but Weimann not quite good enough. He will probably hook up with Lambert somewhere, and he did well enough with Lambert at Villa in the PL. Weimann is similar to Jon Bodi in that he works his socks off without a commensurate return in goals scored. They would both suit Mick's style at Ipswich. I think Fosun are aiming higher.

Agreed I have always respected players that work hard even if they have limited natural ability, if they have both then good, think Fosun are looking at players with above average ability and let Nuno and his staff instill the ethics and workrate.

Unfortunately Bod's worth probably went down in value at Wolves. He came to us on the back of a certain reputation from a good goal against England. He ran around a lot for us and huffed and puffed. Definitely put a shift in, probably time and a half. But, we need strikers to score like they do at the top teams, by almost passing the ball into the net. Less effort, more skill. Nuno knows that.
