Been told by a friend who's very close to Leeds united, they have bid £5mil for Batth and Doherty.

In today's market I think we should be after nearly double that.
Although it's nice to have all these 'star names' signing and being linked. the team still needs an identity and a heart.
I hope both players stay. 👌🏻.

£5mil for Batth and Doherty sounds cheap. I rate Doherty more than Batth though.

By the way, I thought someone on here categorically said we were signing two strikers and they were due to be announced last Monday. Obviously we will sign a striker or two, that's not a secret, but there is a lot of guessing going on here under the pretence it's ITK info!

It's easy to say "my sources tell me we are signing a striker" (but not actually naming one! ) . Then, when we sign a striker, it's "I told you so".

Playground stuff. Get a life!

5 million each in the present market minimum.

I would take £4m for Batth and keep Doherty and play him in his proper position. If Nuno is going to play wing backs, he is perfect for the role.

Blimey I must be watching a different Batth to the rest of you! Committed yes but slow, can't distribute and just hoofs the ball. It is called FOOTBALL after all! No one who has watched him at length can surely believe even in these inflated times that he's worth anywhere near the figures quoted above.

Can i get some of the drugs you lot are on!
Batth and doc aren't worth 5m in a good climate. Even Therlwell wouldn't recruit thise two. Oh my days😂😂😂😂.

If we are going to sell batth and Doherty we should get 2.5mill and 4mill that would be more like it.

I think £2-3m is about the going rate for regular-ish Championship players. Occasionally someone pays more if it looks like there's star quality on the horizon, like Ross McCormack, but we've not paid big money for Championship players like Mason or Dicko.

These two players might look out of sorts with all these new signings. But it looked that way 12 months ago, and they played most games. But everyone has their price.
