Barry Douglas would be great signing imo he's a true left back and this club has been missing one of them for a few years now. There's a few people on here who are dismissing British players just because there British and then there getting all excited about foreigners they've never heard of. I want nothing more than wolves to succeed this season and I think they will but just because players have foreign names doesn't mean there all going to be world beaters, come on boys let's get a grip . UTW.

Agree 1877, especially after last seasons transfers. Hope they do well but there is nothing to go on, as most of the players we are signing haven't played at a very high level.

You're right 1877. There's a depressing tendency for fans to rubbish a player they have never even heard of, let alone seen play. Barry Douglas was scouted as a Lambert target. He is not being parachuted in by Mendes. He is a genuine left back and we don't seem to have many of them! He doesn't have a fancy foreign name but don't hold that against him. He's playing in a tough league, at least as good as our championship. The signs are promising even if some fans can't see them.
