Telegraph reporting Paul Lambert could quit Wolves over plan for Jorge Mendes to handle transfers. Lambert was targeting Tammy Abraham, Grant Hanley and Tom Lawrence. He's apparently been told that mendes will be handling player recruitment for the summer so Lambert is now considering his future.

This was always a possibility with Mendes company part of the Fosun group. Expecting changes from top to bottom including a new foreign manager. I hope the fans are not let down again.

Where is the evidence that Paul Lambert was targeting the likes of Tammy Abraham and Tom Lawrence?

I would like both players at Wolves but have to say that Lambert has done nothing thus far in the 6 months he has been with us to suggest he would be going after players of that type, flair and quality. Giving Saville an extension on his contract would seem to fit much more with what we have seen of PL to date.
