McDonald was also a managers favourite and our best CM . sold. So if any purchases made are going straight in the first team he must be replacing Edwards. Makes sense now.

I want Price to stay he has a great chance to finally rise to our number 1 midfielder like Gerrard and Keane for their clubs and selling Edwards might be good for the balance sheet but he scores goals for us.
