I'm hoping it's not true can anyone confirm it?

The rumour is we need to be in the top six before Christmas. Hope we hang on to him, the style of playing isn't the problem, its more the quality of players. We have spent big money on average players, who are no better than the ones we already have.

The problem is'as has been for while now, sub standard defending'whether WZ stays or goes, money needs to be spent on that area more than any other.

Who else is there at the moment @Demon? only one I can think who may turn us around if Zenga does get the boot is Pearson possibly, I would say big Sam but I think he is finished in football now.

It will be Marco Silva, and I reckon very soon. Just my opinion.

Gary Rowett for me. He would unquestionably get Wolves promotion. Unfortunately, it will be a Portuguese or European man that likes being bought the toys, as apposed to a manager who likes buying the toys (like Rowett) . Same equation for big Sam - he just doesn't fit into the new regime of 'working with the toys' Daddy Jeff finds them.

We've got an agent pulling the strings and who do you think his main interest is? Himself or wolves? Our whole running of the club has changed and it won't work, who is going to want to come in and be dictated to by an agent?

Oh how people who wanted Steve Morgan out have changed their tune.

That's what l was trying to say. Europeans don't mind the agent thing as much as the British and I personally can't see Wolves appointing a British manager again with Mendes in full flow. Wish people would stop mentioning Big Sam and co, 'cos it ain't going to happen over the next 5 years at least.

The Mendes thing might ware off eventually, after he's offloaded all of his clients onto us. In the meantime I would get used to European managers, players and staff ONLY.

Also get used to a bunch of players who's hearts are really in it, who are here to try and get a move somewhere else as soon as possible.

all the experts out again, stating it'll never work. What will never work is pleasing wolves fans. moaned when we were owned by morgan, moaned when we were up for sale and still moaning that we have rich owners . it'll never work. sounds like your grand parents and the www or Peter Kaye 'garlic bread'. it'll never work LOL Relax and enjoy the bumpy ride.

Its annoying watching the club being run that makes no sense. Its simply, get a manager whos been there and done it i.e McCarthy, Bruce and get them the resources to build a team. Or we can stick to what were doing now and win 1 draw 1 and lose 1 all season and the next. Yeah sounds great!

Your right Ajwolf, relax and enjoy the bumpy ride, but the way it's going I'm going to be doing that from the boozer instead of traipsing round the country!

Most sensible option = McCarthy, B Sam, Rowett, Pearson, Bruce, etc, etc with a budget of £25 million max on a two year plan with NO interference from the board. Our option = New coach every six months working with players found for him, ££££££ spent year in, year out probably taking 5 years achieving promotion. Typical Wolves.

I've said all summer we need someone like Crouchy up top, experianced striker with an eye for goal, not getting much time at Stoke. Would be my choice up top.
