I agree about Martin. £8-9m for an overweight clumsy player who can't even get into his team anymore seems overpriced. Ask yourself why Pearson won't pick him. There is better abroad now, and no comparison between him and Jordan Rhodes at £10m.

Personally, Wolves would be better paying £9m for a quality central defender or two and finishing off the midfield with Bjarnason (£5m) . Dicko/ Mason/ Bodvarsson and Gladon is more than enough up front until January.

I'm not 100% sure Chris Martin wants to be at Derby, speaking to a couple of Derby fans about him and before Wolves made there bid he didn't look the player there used to seeing in the first couple of games even if he was coming of the bench, they seem to think something has happened between him and Pearson, but also think Wolves may of tuned his head not in terms of money but In terms of he'd play regular In a formation that's suits him and style of play that suits him to and they do think Wolves will make another bid before deadline.

Worryingly, Derby fans say Martin hasn't at all looked the player he was a couple of seasons back and looks clumsy and over weight. Pearson isn't stupid and wants to get good money for him while he still can. Anything over £8m would be too much, in my view.

Just think we all need to calm down a bit and just wait to see who else comes in personally I think we have a squad that would get us to Jan if no one else came in got last season side playing a lot better and for the shirt only one out of eight new signings starting yesterday still getting them to gell in training and used to English football plus got great players to come back in from injury so like I say if this finished squad will def be top 6 in Jan.

Wavid for once I agree with your last 2 comments, tie up Saiss get a quality CH if we bid for Boly it must be a sign we are after a quality defender, Bjarnason would be the icing on the cake. if being greedy maybe a prem loan of a striker to help until dicko is fully fit, akpom, kone, ings, diouf, any others?

For a while, deadline day has been a non-event for us and by 5pm Jez was neck-deep in pies. I do expect us to buck that trend but wouldn't be surprised if we're looking a players that haven't appeared anywhere on here.

No need to panic wolves fans enjoy the ride, better team second half and we were unlucky just proves that the team first half have been given there chance but were not good enough, the midfield area was poor with poor performances from Edwards, Saville, Wallace and Price and Iorfa they all had bad games and I have no doubt Zenga will sort it out.
