Wolves have put in 5 million pounds to secure Idrissa Sylla before the transfer window ends.

His goal record rubbish isn't that the same player we was close to signing for 2.4m.

I'm not sure what the other guy was talking about, his goal ratio is awful so I presumed him to be a winger. It is the same player we are bidding £2.5m more for. Sako would have been a better bet with Palace trying to get Benteke today.

I remember everyone caining Tex before he signed saying it wasn't the one from Liverpool and he is crap, never played for the first team etc. He has played 1 game for us and 1 appearance from the bench and suddenly everyone is raving about what a brilliant signing he was! Give people a chance to play before making judgement!

That stat of 112 goals in 196 games in the mail I presume to be a load of rubbish. This guy scores in every 3 games (if you're lucky) . Not exactly prolific but I presume is to be bought for knockdowns into the onrushing Dicko and Dadi.

No, unfortunately Wolves really have cocked this one up. Just read about what Sylla's own fans think - they can't wait to get rid of him. £5m is daylight robbery. I really hope it doesn't go through, the man barely scores 1 in 4 and looks like a total liability. Don't go with what I think, read their comments. To go from Martin, Sako, the Icelandic chap, to this guy is the biggest cock up in history. He must have a very good agent, is all I can say.

Don't forget that we need a good squad of around 23-25 players

If we have injuries like last season having at least one good replacement is the minimum requirement so this signing wouldn't be a bad one

I think if we get players like Sylla that can be versatile we should see players like Henry / Wallace / Edwards / Evans demoted or shown the door

Before Dadi we were struggling for forwards with Dicko out and just Mason and the Academy kids as back up

Reinforcements are needed and must be a case of get what quality we can at the moment

Once we get promoted to the Prem we will be targeting better quality players but at the same time these players might perform great for us like Dadi and Tex so far and I've got a feeling we've got a really good player in Prince Oniangue.

You don't seem to understand Sylla isn't any better than Mason or any other player we have on the bench. I'm not being negative as I think the new signings have been amazing so far, I just don't like seeing the club waste money like that. I always go on what their own fans think and, if this one is anything to go by, all I can see is a player in the Sagbo mould. You know yourself if a transfer will work and with this one, I have the same old Mason or Chris Woods type of feeling. Oniangué, on the other hand, looks a bargain.
