I'd love him, Martin, Bodvarrson and Dicko is one hell of a striking trio, forget MSN, MBD.

Don't like him as a person but cannot take away how good he is . Would be a good signing but cannot see Derby letting him leave.

Dicko, Martin, Talisca, Bodvarsson, Teixiera, Costa: Now that's power. Add a quality centre half or two with experience and Wolves really will be going somewhere at long last.

I've posted this in lots of places but it passes away as thread do. It should make it clear why Fosun would want to do this.

The Chinese Corporate world has adopted a culture of wolf totem / wolf spirit, where the wolf pack represents being enterprising and competing fiercely to win (like Western Capitalism) but as a team and for the sake of their community (like Chinese Communism) . It's like the wolf pack is the symbol of future China.

So Wolves FC could be massive in China, among their wealthy progressive outward looking middle class who Fosun target as their main market, by naturally fitting into China's existing wolf chic culture. And it means we work perfectly as the Champion leading identity of Fosun to the World.

It's already manifesting in Jeff binning Kenny (who didn't have wolf spirit and passion) and replacing him with Walter who does have wold spirit and "fire". And we saw how well that team passion worked in 2nd half against Rotherham.

And on Nathan Judah's twitter day Zenga was announced, there's a photo of a new photo background that Fosun have introduced, that said "the strength of the wolf is in the pack". They are already clearly trying to implement Chinese wolf spirit culture, to make us the living embodiment of it. I think it all adds up to the fact they mean for us to be massive and it's totally viable :-)

You know what Ulf you are spot on with that Mateus watched all of the clips since Zenga's appointment in You Tube about an hour ago and only just picked in what Jeff said properly when he mentioned the 'Wolf Pack' and that Zenga is like a Wolf, although I already believe that Fosun mean business as in this is their business and they want us to be big, I now truly believe that this (Wolves Project) is something they feel spiritually and deadly serious about and I don't think we need to worry about achieving something special with these guys

We will once again be a force in the top division.

I think they must think well of us Wolves fans too, in terms of us fitting it. The last contribution on that Chinese wolf-chic article I linked describes about how the best companies / organisations have suffered great pain but kept on and won through, like a wolf-pack and survival of the fittest. That's our - "This is our love it knows no division" banner, it perfectly fits the never give up / stick together as a wolf-pack mentality.

Then there's what Ince said about us being the most passionate fans in the Country. I think this is a perfect match, Fosun don't want just Wolves FC for themselves and to change it, they want it as it really is / should be, unleashed and empowered, and us too, we're part of the wolf brand and they want us to be on board and passionately supporting it all, as the 12th man / wolf.

I still think we may need to be patient (as the Chump is tough and they are still learning the ropes of it, Zenga too), it may not work out this season, but if it doesn't that's just hardship they'll want to win through to prove they're wolves too and make it work long-term.

And I'm fully backing Zenga, I think he'll get the Mendes support to make it work because he's such a perfect fit as a wolf pack leader, Fosun saw that against Rotherham and I think Fosun will be determined to make it work with him.

How lucky we are the town wasn't named after Lady Thrush and became Throstlehampton :-P.

Just had a text from a good friend who tells me Martin is in talks already. He is a family friend of the Martin family from Norfolk who play golf regularly.

He's also talking to Norwich. His dad is a big Norwich fan but says Wolves offer of wages may be the thing in our favour.

if this with anderson comes off new owners have done more in three weeks than morgan in 9 years.

Chris Martin from Derby? Yes please.
To think, the level of Kenny Jackett's ambitions seemed to be his constant attempts to buy the useless Chris Woods. Woods didn't look up to much against QPR yesterday.
If wages are the factor between Chris Martin choosing between us and Norwich, where is that skinflint Jez Moxey when you need him? Jez mate, think about balancing the books, slap a wage cap on, you can't sign Chris Martin for more than a tenner a week, there's a good boy.

It's the 8th of the 8th. That's definitely lucky for Chinese, like they had the 2008 Olympics.

Maybe today we'll get the unveiling of Talisca?

Deep throat as much as I slated moxey I think we should relax a little on him now. Would we be owned by foson now if he hadnt balanced the books. He may of accidently done exactly what was needed so think he's had his share of stick now lol.

Sort out that back four that's what keeps letting us down. Goals against, speaks for itself.

Bentley, ironically that's the other side of the coin. If Morgan and Moxey hadn't made a priority of balancing the books, we might not have found ourselves under Fosun ownership. Turned out for the best. We'll let M&M rest in peace now.

There's also the fact that Fosun wanted us because we are Wolves FC, they specifically said it was better than the club only being known by its UK town name, which is harder for people in China to relate to than 'Wolves'.

So Fosun have no need to be attached to Wolverhampton itself, and I wouldn't have been surprised if one day they proposed a move to a big new stadium out of Wolverhampton. However, Morgan and Moxey putting up that new stand may save it for Molineux, that new stand is too big an investment / value to walk away from and rebuild elsewhere. It was bad at the time because we should have spent the money on team to stay in Prem, but now it will probably guarantee Molineux, which if so is great and something to be grateful for.

Ulf, two weeks ago you weren't a wolves Fan anymore due to the Fosun takeover. And I won't even mention MoneyS. Make up your mind, you're full on one way one day, the opposite the next, then back more forceful than before a week later. I'm dizzy, and not just from re-reading this wolves symbol theory again and again like I'm in groundhog day.

Moxey was my problem, I completely lost trust in him due to the Moneyshop stitch up (and it was a stitch up dumped on us a legally binding 3yr deal) . Moxey has been in the way of our biggest asset all along, our identity, and that just looked to have killed it dead.

Then I believed the ITK rumour that there were 2 different Chinese buyers queuing, when Fosun were first announced as buyers and not Robin Li, I thought Moxey had stitched it up with them, and our identity was still going to be ignored, that we'd get run into the ground because of it.

But then as soon as it was announced Moxey was leaving, I took a proper look at Fosun and began to realise we weren't getting stitched up, and that they'd bought us precisely because of our identity and to make the most of it, which was everything I'd hoped for.

And the wolf-culture thing isn't a theory, it's the larger context that makes this make sense and is definitely a good thing. And I've only reposted about it, because I'm not allowed to post on Mol Mix where it would form a discussion point and be seen and considered by most, so I've posted it here, but threads pass on fast and many who aren't regular won't have seen it. And I feel I need to get people to understand this, because some of the opinions on Mol Mix about what Fosun (and Zenga) are about are so way off mark it's crazy. I think if I can get people to see the larger context, they'll understand why Zenga and give him more full support instead of criticising.

Hopefully when we become a bigger club, either Mol Mix will stop with the intellectual and opinion censorship, or we'll get other forums that are more inclusive of arty / challenging types like me :-)
