Just heard from my cousin TD that we are going to sign 2 players tomorrow if they pass their medicals. Can confirm they are Alex Pritchard and James Wilson. £15 million for the pair.

Not sure about Wilson looking at his goals ratio when on loan to Brighton last season 5 in 27.

living in brighton I go to the amex occasionally with mates and have got to say james wilson is not what we need - we need someone tall and strong to slot dicko through, wilson massively overrated.

I agree Southernwolves - a number 9 that plays similar to Giroud for Arsenal would be ideal that can hold the ball up win headers, good control and passing with a good left foot, f it let's just put a bid in for him!

Do we all believe it's Pele that's holding up these 3 players signing? I don't. I bet they want to announce something saft like 10 new players lol.

I agree about Wilson, he's a very overrated player and is only seen as anything different because he's from the Man Utd academy. You need interchangeable players around Dicko like Sako, John, Cavaleiro and Tulisca (who can all swop roles) , but this is Kenny Jackett we're talking about so anything could happen.

Yes, I saw that on the NEWSNOW site at 7.27.

Tall and strong. Chris Martin fits that criteria.

15 million for the pair? That's over priced by about 8 or 9 million!

Crouch would do a good job this season.

Not sure why you keep harping on about Kenny Jacket, Wavidsmith. Do you really believe that he's the driving force behind the potential acquisitions?

In answer to your question, yes, he is. He, Gallen and Therwell all meet every week to discuss the players they would like.

So you think Mason was his choice then along with whoever we are about to acquire? I doubt it personally but we'll see.
