A few updates, I understand I haven't been greatly reliable but I have a pretty new source who is excellent. I said earlier deal is still going through before Guillem said it. It is still very much on and Lopetegui is extremely ready to build an excellent squad. When it is finalised, Wolves could announce a loan deal for Jose Mauri from Milan soon after. Takeover should be all done this Friday or the beginning of this week.

Don't panic, be patient. These things take a while. It is 100% happening though.

I am pretty sure about everything other than the Mauri rumour, would be a great signing but currently that is just speculation. Other players getting mentioned are Vincent Aboubakar and Steven Defour.

I have never claimed to be a person in the know or said I got contacts or posted make up rumours.

I got a phone call today with the person on the other end very good friends with a Wolves Legend who has confirmed the deal will be completed very soon.

I can't obviously tell you which Legend.

Just can't wait for it all to be 100% done and dusted now.

I saw it confirmed on news now (i think) . There was a piece titled 'Confirmed, Li buys midland club' (not stating which club) in the Birmingham Mail but it's been deleted! Now I really am starting to worry.

Maybe they were alittle quick on the trigger and took it off?

hello folks I don't usually post but read avidly however following a conversation I had today with a business accountant who has been involved with the deal I can confirm the deal is done, They ( both parties) have decided to wait until the end of the week to make annoucement. This is perfectly normal as documentation is checked over. The time delay between UK and China will have no effect on the time of the annoucement. Please do not shoot the messenger just thought you would want to know.

end of the week means Friday in this case - number 8 is thought to be lucky in Chinese so the deal was always likely to be confirmed on th 8th at the request of the new owner.
