Apparently, Wolves are in advanced talks with Anderlecht regarding Idrissa Sylla. The fee has been agreed and so has the contract between club and player. Only thing holding up the deal is a work permit.

I've heard were still in for Jason Cummings from hibs? I'd personally rather Adam Armstrong from Newcastle. We could survive without a striker, with dicko, Mason and enobakhare plus Reid, Collins, and Ennis. If enobakhare hits his best this season he'll be better than any or them, him and dicko would have a good partnership. He needs to be playing, if not the first team out on loan not on the bench.

We can't get Armstrong now, he'll no doubt be in and around the Newcastle team next season.

Wolf don't make me laugh enobakhare? That kid is not going to be good enough, Ried Connor and Ennis are not ready to step up and it's doubtful in one of the 3 will be good enough.

I'd love Robson-Kanu to sign. I just think his stock will rise during Euro 2016 and he'll move to a Premier League club.

Swansea already interested.

The only one of the three youth players who could step up is Ennis and he should be playing with Dicko with sylla on the bench.

How can you say enobakhare isn't good enough? He's 17!

Guys, check out our Daniel Armstrong, Scottish Winger loves to play and mix it with the style and confidence of Jordan Graham. IF he keeps developing at the rate he is I think he will come through before some of the names mentioned.

Exactly he's 17 and if you have watched him regularly as I have you would know he's not going to be the next Bully let alone the next anything. How can you say if he hits his best. He shouldn't be figuring in the 1st team at all next season.

Banbury, unfotunately, (and I mean that in a nice way) I have to agree with you, Bright's future doesn't seem as bright as some may think. If he's to make it he needs to get his game head on, a bit too hit or miss. If I may say and it's my opinion only, he's lazy.
Compare him to Deli Ali and you see Bright lays the ball off very quickly, Deli Ali wants the ball, runs at defences and gets the ball delivered.

He needs to wake up and smell the Cafe Latte.

Tbf to him he's only played academy football, there's not much presure on him there, compared to dele Alli, Alli has played a lot more games in lower leagues, enobakhare needs a loan in league 1/ 2.

I'd send him on loan to walsall.

Not a bad shout knight, maybe league 2 first half then league 1 second half. Hunte also needs a loan, maybe Ronan. Reid and Collins need a 3 month loan in league 1.

How many clubs had written off Vardy by the time he was 27? Yes that was him scoring for England yesterday. Writing off Bright already is a nonsense.

totally agree v bright has'nt had a proper run of games yet I've seen him playing accademy games and he's looked unplayable and at 17 he's nowhere near his peak.

I was thinking the same victory v shows age is no barrier to stepping up we can't judge a 17 year old so quickly players like Siggy and Liam into their 20s before we gave up and in Leon Clarke's case we brought them back for another chance.

Maybe people think our youngsters should be like Rashford walking straight into the national team in their first season.

I don't think anyone is writing off Bright, I was giving my opinion on his development at Wolves and like Knight I too would give him a loan spell somewhere. Other clubs seem to get the best out of our starlets that Kenny promises to use but instead they warm their bums on our bench. No one is writing him off. I actually like the kid and only wish him well, but in the WWFC set up at the moment he is not getting that opportunity to show his full potential.

Worst thing for a young player is to come into the 1st team then either sit on the bench or step backwards and back to under 21 football, that's why a lot of our youngsters fail, if they're not going to be used every week loan them out.

{Ed001's Note - actually the step backwards is a good way to keep their feet on the ground, if used correctly. It was standard practice to give players a taste of the first team, just to whet their appetite, then drop them back into the reserves, at one time. These days players are too whiney and immature to cope with a setback.}

Didn't man u think pogba wasn't good enough for them at 18? Now they could buy him back for something like 80 million!

Just to the person on about Armstrong, I've watched a lot of him as I go down Compton, he's technically very good, fairly quick, good link up play as well, and got quality left foot, I personally think him ronan& hunte will be the next to play regular for Wolves along with bright.

Ed001 I don't totally agree with you point about whiney young players and the need to get them grounded. It's not just about what you do it also matters how you do it. If a player is going to get a taste of the first team and then be dropped back to the under 21's they deserve communication and some explanation and encouragement. Its one thing to be a hard decisive manager who develops hard self-sufficient players through tough love. But that don't work with everyone. Its not nursemaiding to talk to your players. Is that how Mick lost Mark Davies?

{Ed001's Note - I never said you don't communicate with them, they were always told what was happening in the past. That should not change, a manager should be a communicator first and foremost.}
