I've been told that wolves are leading the chase to sign highly rated Luke Freeman who plays for Bristol City (LMF or RMF), he has been heavily scouted over the past season & has impressed.

Another player on the radar to replace Sako is Valon Berisha who can play on either wing or MF.

KJ has also identified a weak link in the CB position and would like to add strength and apparently CHANCEL MBEMBA has been looked at but only on a loan basis as he is highly rated and I doubt we could even afford to buy him.
Another name being mentioned is Matthias Ginter (CB).

Matt Locke is correct in saying the scouts have been in Portugal, but have also been scouting extensively across Europe at young talent but ready for first team action.

Are you on about the same Matthias ginter that plays for bor.dourtmand and the same chancel Mbemba that plays for rsc anderlecht because if you are and if we are after these players I think our scouts need to take a reality check I really do

Ginter never gets a game for BvB but even so, why would he come to a club like Wolves? Chancel Mbemba is the defensive version of the Yak - nobody really knows how old he is. If these are our targets then a reality check is needed as Matt said. If however Lord Steve is willing to throw money at them, they're more than welcome to slum it for a season at Wolves as we try to get back to the promised land.

These are just names that were thrown at me from a reliable source. What comes of this I do not know. What I am pleased at is the net has been spread out further than the UK. I'm pleased that the CB role is being looked at. I can't help but think Baath is a weak link in the chain. I'd make Stears the captain also.

Matt that's every position apart from RB and goalie. Realistically we're looking at no more than 3 first team players coming in I reckon, based on previous seasons. Although Kenny is more ruthless in team selection than his predecessors.

I can see Kenny creating another "group 3" squad with Ricketts, Clarke, McAlinden, Cassidy and maybe Zeli if they are not sold or loaned. And we will need to see if players like Evans and Jacobs are in his plans too.

Bhatt is far and away a better and more reliable defender than Stearman. :s. He's been playing left sided CB which is an unnatural position for him. Stears often catches the eye because of last ditch tackles and throwing himself in front of shots. But more often than not he's salvaging situations of his own making. Plus his performances in the last month have been really poor. He was also extremely fortunate that Ebanks-Landell got injured when he did before Xmas. I don't think we will strengthen the defence but if we do it'll be a left CB to partner Batth.

Completely throwing a name out there but Dielna from Sheff Weds? think jackett will trust e-l and Hause personally.

Just been thinking about this actually I like the use of kj trying different things and young players out to try something new but when he does that he seems to forgot about bringing anyone in on loan or permeantly like I said all for giving young players ago for when it's not going right but it's not going to last them playing well so kj should still bring players in just incase
