Being linked with a possible loan move for Leicester's Danny Drinkwater, central midfielder. Jacobs could go out on loan

Would be a very good addition but can't see Leister letting him go.

Agree that he would be exactly what we need but not likely to be allowed to leave. We need somebody alongside McDonald who has ability to get up and down the pitch, has a range of passing and a goal threat. Drink water does all of these and Edwards and Price don't. We are getting overrun in midfield and this is reflected in fact that opposition are dominating stats in particular number of efforts on goal. We had three efforts tonight with two on target. Nowhere near enough in a game we really could have done with winning. Adobe is a real talent as is Dicko but they need midfield to create opportunities for them.

I think we need to settle for being in the championship next season we're lacking the CM and I know danny drinkwater has been linked if he comes in be very good signing but probably to late, thing is why I'm saying settle being in championship next season is because our record against the top 7 here home and away
Away- lost 5 won 1 that ain't good enough and still go to play middlesborough away
Home-won 3 lost 0 but still got to play derby, Ipswich and Watford we
Like I was saying we lack the CM away from home that when your under pressure can win the ball back and get us going again but I'd be happy with 8th or 7th now tbh and start planning for next season now to try and get play offs or automatic

Home record is the other way round Matt Locke. And that reinforces your point. The team isn't ready and we'll need a few more signings to compete in the Premier. I'd rather give this team longer in the Championship so we can see who among the young players is Premier quality and who isn't. Probably because I don't have confidence in the management signing enough players who are good enough and affordable enough. With a couple of exceptions our team is cheap, and one or both of those exceptions is likely to be moving in the summer.
Can't see us going up now, anyway, without a great deal of luck that is.

Absolutely gutted, throwing promotion away, we all know we need mid player with McDonald to get up the pitch Evans, price and Edwards can't do that job
Every time we meet a good side that is challenging to get the points we fail because lack of investment in the mid. Department
Fair enough if k.j.says we are good enough like he says, why are we not getting the results required in these big matches, must win game now against Watford and hope the teams above we drop points
6.) 04 Mar 2015
04 Mar 2015 18:51:50
Agreed big wolf, lack of investment and ambition! We need minimum 7 points out of Watford, Brighton and Sheff weds games and hope a couple of teams above us drop points!
7.) 05 Mar 2015
05 Mar 2015 08:59:55
Why is everyone so negative?!
You're deluded if you think it's a given we can get 3 points away at Bournemouth on a Tuesday night. Before then, we won three games comfortably and were playing the best football we have all season.
8.) 05 Mar 2015
05 Mar 2015 09:51:25
Makes you think how close we are and with last nights results going our way surely we should invest in a couple of players on loan .
If we miss out on play offs then the board and management need a good kick up the back side for keep on making mistakes and they don't come any bigger than this its the best chance we will have for a long time and you can't say we have no money to spend because Morgan as not spent anything
9.) 05 Mar 2015
05 Mar 2015 11:15:54
If we miss out on the playoffs then it's a job well done. Only 2 years ago we were in free fall, heading for League 1 like a lead balloon, and we could only dream of missing out on the playoffs.
10.) 05 Mar 2015
05 Mar 2015 12:10:48
We won't miss out on play offs if we invest in a quality midfielder! 3 out the next 4 games at home, minimum 9 points needed
11.) 05 Mar 2015
05 Mar 2015 17:29:39
We have every chance of making the playoffs, Paul. That match at Bournemouth was always going to be tough. Yes, 9 points would make a huge difference. But I don't see that one midfielder is enough for us. We need 3 or 4 quality players to make a real difference and that simply won't happen.
12.) 05 Mar 2015
05 Mar 2015 17:38:52
Agree Paul Tamworth your on the same wave length as me you want us back in premier as quickly as we can why not its the only place to be
13.) 05 Mar 2015
05 Mar 2015 18:49:39
One quality midfielder will make a massive differance! As I've said before this is a mediocre championship this season, where everyone can beat everyone! We could get promoted on the cheap! If we came straight back down the money we would come down with would allow us to build a strong championship squad which would compete for automatic promotion the season after. If we then became a yo yo club so be it! As long as it's yo yoin from championship to Prem and not Championship to Div3!!
14.) 05 Mar 2015
05 Mar 2015 19:31:12
Central midfielder is, by common assent, our main need. Problem is identifying who that key component for a promotion push could be. Drink water is a good call but was in Leicester squad last night and therefore doesn't look like a realistic proposition unless someone out there knows differently.
Won't pick up anyone from Championship rivals so only options are Premiership player surplus to requirements or lower league loaner with promise to buy. Any ideas.
15.) 05 Mar 2015
05 Mar 2015 21:21:22
Failure to make the playoffs is not acceptable. It wouldn't be tolerated in any other Championship season, so why should it be tolerated this season? We're just a few points off, so it's not unachievable.
16.) 06 Mar 2015
06 Mar 2015 02:37:29
For me for us to make the play offs we need to go back 4231 with edo behind dicko ok afobe has scored goals but 442 don't suit dicko from what I've seen of him since he's better with Edwards behind him and like I was saying okay afobe has scored goals but dicko is our best all round striker In running in behind and bringing others in to play and holding the ball up and also 442 don't suit van la parra and sako when u play 442 as winger you stay wide on the touch line as sako and van don't like doing that they prefer to come in side and create things like that and pick the ball up in the middle of the park and run the defence and slip someone in behind or give to the overlapping full back to put a ball in so for me this needs to be our Tmoz
Iorfa batth stearman golbourne
Van la parra Edwards Sako
17.) 06 Mar 2015
06 Mar 2015 10:59:39
That's why we need a quality midfielder so we can play 442 and not worry about other teams steam Rollin us in that area.
18.) 06 Mar 2015
06 Mar 2015 12:13:15
Midfield is definitely were we are losing it even when we have won games, we are not bossing midfield, don't seam comfortable in that area to me, need someone to break play up like a Alex rae type of playerr
19.) 06 Mar 2015
06 Mar 2015 19:31:01
Rumour as it k.j. must loan 2 players out to bring 2 players in what's that all about
20.) 06 Mar 2015
06 Mar 2015 22:58:33
Yes kj has said this but if u look there ain't enough room for 2 players coming in and I think he wants eusibeo and Jacobs to go on loan so and CM and winger can come in or a CM and striker I just hope we can do the deal for danny drinkwater rumour is we have enquired about the avalibilty of him and apparently a deal is there to be done with a view to permeant if it was to come of like it normal is but I don't have clue who else could be coming In and I think it also means that kj will after to offer those 2 players to clubs rather than them coming In for him
21.) 08 Mar 2015
08 Mar 2015 12:21:08
2 points lost, to slow at back bathe got beat to easy from 2 kicks down middle were bathe was out muscled not good enough throwing points away in like I said an average championship
Why doesn't k.j. bring some loan players in for these last 10 games 6th place is there for the taking, why have we not got any ambition Morgan as not spent anything
